Khor Waiho

Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Aquaculture and Fisheries, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Dr. Khor Waiho obtained his Ph.D. in Aquaculture from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (2016) and completed a 2-year postdoctoral (Biology, 2017-2019) at Shantou University, China. His current research focus includes the impact of climate change on crustacean growth and reproductive biology, population biology and fishery, and the aquaculture of economically important crustacean species.

Kenta Nakai

Professor of Human Genome Center, the Institute of Medical Science, the University of Tokyo, Japan. Editor of DNA Research and Mathematical Biosciences. Former president of the Japanese Society of Bioinformatics.

Bob Patton

Dr Bob Patton is a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at University of Surrey. He has run a research consultancy since 1993. During the 90s he worked as a consultant for the Home Office Drugs Prevention Initiative and research associate in health promotion for the University of Northumbria. Based in London since 1997, he has held a variety of research positions at Kings College London, Royal Holloway, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Imperial College, Surrey University and the Maudsley Hospital. He has also served as the Vice-Chair (Research) for the BPS Division for Teachers and Researchers and been a member of the BPS Research Board.

Shawn M Gomez

Professor, Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering at UNC-CH and NCSU and Department of Pharmacology at UNC-CH. Previous Florence Gould Scholar and Pasteur Foundation Fellow. Current research interests in systems and synthetic biology, bioimage informatics, and network science applied to biology. Broader interests in translational medicine and the fostering of innovative solutions to problems in healthcare.

Full professor at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Winner of several national conservation awards. Expert on microbial evolutionary ecology, works studying microbial mats and complex communities at Cuatro Ciénegas Coahuila, Mexico

Jörg Oehlmann

Graduated as Dr. rer. nat. at University Münster in 1994. Habilitation at the International Graduate School Zittau in 1998. 2001-2004: Full professor (C3) for Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Goethe University Frankfurt. Since 2004 full professor (C4) for Aquatic Ecotoxicology at Goethe University Frankfurt.

Head of the Department Aquatic Ecotoxicology and the Master's Programme in Environmental Sciences at Goethe University.

Primary research interests: Biological effects monitoring, endocrine active chemicals, pharmaceuticals and personal care products in the environment, effects of microplastics on aquatic organisms, development of an integrated water resource management.

Claus O Wilke

Professor and Department Chair, Department of Integrative Biology, The University of Texas at Austin. Received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Bochum, Germany, in 1999. Postdoc at Caltech, 2000-2005.

Tatiana V Tatarinova

Fletcher Jones Endowed Chair in Computational Biology and Associate Professor of Biology, University of La Verne. Member of The Russian-American Science Association Coordinating Committee.

Daniel Paiva Silva

I hold a doctorate in Ecology and Evolution from Universidade Federal de Goiás, Goiânia, Brazil (2010-2014). I have experience in quantitative ecology, landscape ecology, tri-trophic interactions, insect conservation, exotic invasive species ecology, and species distribution models/ecological niche models. My previous published works involve biology and ecology of bees, dragon and damselflies, and other insects in general. Currently, I work with general ecology, population and community ecology, biodiversity management and conservation, and evolution as a faculty member of the Instituto Federal Goiano, campus Urutaí. Finally, I am currently an academic editor for PLOS ONE and PeerJ Journals.
