Dr. Eamonn Delahunt is an Associate Professor in the University College Dublin School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science. He graduated with a first class honours BSc (Physiotherapy) in 2003. Upon graduation he was the first-ever physiotherapist to receive an Irish Research Council for Science Engineering and Technology postgraduate research scholarship. He completed his PhD in the minimum time required graduating in 2006. Dr. Delahunt is committed to the philosophy of the protection of athlete health and the prevention of illnesses and injuries in sport. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Delahunt has an active research group, including 13 PhD students. Dr. Delahunt has extensive clinical experience in the area of sports physiotherapy and is a Specialist Member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Dr Tim Doyle is a biomechanics and physical performance researcher at Macquarie University, Sydney, NSW, Australia. He has a broad network having studied within Australia (The University of Queensland, Edith Cowan University) and overseas at Ball State University in the USA. In addition to his academic qualifications he is also an accredited level 2 strength and conditioning coach (ASCA), an accredited level 2 sport scientist and exercise scientist (ESSA). He was awarded an Endeavour Executive Fellowship which provided the opportunity to spend time at The Mayo Clinic. His research involves neuromuscular biomechanics, injury prevention, and physical preparation in athletes and tactical populations.

Dr. Levine is a Professor and the Walter M. Cline Chair of Excellence in Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is an adjunct professor at the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine and North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, he is board certified as a specialist in orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is also certified in dry needling. Dr. Levine has been working and conducting research in many areas with an emphasis in veterinary physical rehabilitation and is co-director of the University of Tennessee certificate program in canine rehabilitation. He is a co-editor of multiple books including “Canine Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy”, “Essential Facts of Physiotherapy in Dogs and Cats”, and Gait Analysis: An Introduction. He continues to practice in canine rehabilitation and human physical therapy in addition to his University position. He has presented at over 100 conferences, and has lectured in more than a dozen countries. Dr. Levine has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals with over 75 publications. His latest research focuses on bacterial contamination in medical equipment, animal assisted therapy, and laser to improve muscle endurance.

Dr. Marcellin-Little is a veterinary orthopedic surgeon who has been doing research for approximately 20 years in the field of joint replacement, limb deformities, physical rehabilitation, and biomodeling/biomanufacturing. He has a particular interest in the interface between computers and orthopedics. He is a member of the Center of Additive Manufacturing and Logistics at North Carolina State University and an adjunct in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering (at NCSU), Industrial and Systems Engineering (at NCSU), and Physical Therapy (at UT-Chattanooga).

Her work has contributed to guidelines for managing hip and knee osteoarthritis developed through the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners National Health and Medical Research Council.
Amir Zadpoor studied Biomed Eng for his MSc and obtained his PhD (cum laude) from Delft Univ. Tech. He joined the Dept. Biomech. Eng. to work in the area of tissue biomechanics and implants in 2010 and started a research lab focusing on biomaterials, orthopedics, and biomechanics of tissues and implants. Amir is on the review and editorial board of several journals and has published many peer-reviewed article. He recently received the prestigious ERC and Veni personal grants.
