Dr. Christophe Hano, completed his PhD in 2005 in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and is Associate Professor at the University of Orleans with research activities the ICOA Lab (UMR7311 CNRS). His research career has focused on applied plant metabolism, plant biotechnology and green (bio)chemistry.
Currently, he is developing research projects aimed at studying plant secondary/specialized metabolism to lead to the development of natural products with interests in the fields of pharmacology and/or cosmetics. In particular, his research focuses on the green extraction (NaDES) and analytical methods applied to plant polyphenols, elucidation of their biosynthetic patways and their exploitation by metabolic engineering approaches.
After graduating from Food Engineering, I completed my M.Sc and Ph.D in seafood processing technology. Finished my doctoral thesis titled as "Effect Of Some Microbiological Metabolites On Specific Spoilage Microorganisms In Gilthead Sea Bream (Sparus aurata), And Their Usage Potential In Cold Storage" in 2020. My studies focus on important microorganisms in food technology.
Dr. Hidekazu Hiroaki is Professor within the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagoya University, Japan. He received his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (PhD thesis "Spectroscopic study for interaction between DNA oligonucleotide and bleomycin”) from the Graduate School of Osaka University, Japan in 1992.
Dr Hiroaki's research focuses on the structural biology of proteins by using solution NMR techniques, including protein-protein and protein-drug interaction. He is also focusing on NMR-assisted in silico drug discovery as well as protein structure determination. He is also an expert of intrinsically disordered proteins and some disease related amyloid genic proteins.

Dr. Marcello Iriti is an Associate Professor of Plant Biology and Pathology within the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Milan.
He has been studying nutraceuticals, functional foods, phytotherapeutics and essential oils relevant for human and animal health, focusing on their preclinical (in vitro/in vivo) and in human pharmacological activities. He has also been investigating the health-promoting effects of traditional Mediterranean diet as well as the ethnopharmacology of herbal remedies of traditional healing systems.
Dr. Iriti is a Member of the World Academy of Sciences, Asian Council of Science Editors and Society of African Journal Editors. Founding Member of the Italian Society of Environmental Medicine. Dr. Mohammed Kuddus is working as a Professor and Chairman of Biochemistry Department at University of Hail, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Dirk Lachenmeier is a state-certified food chemist, toxicologist, head of the department of plant-based foods and co-head of the nuclear magnetic resonance laboratory at Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Agency, Karlsruhe, Germany, which is a governmental food, medicine and alcohol control authority.
He earned his PhD in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Bonn.
Sapna Langyan is a scientist at ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi, India. She holds an experience of more than 11 years in agricultural research. She aims to contribute towards food and nutritional security of the world and alleviating malnutrition through research support. She has more than 30 research papers, book chapters, conference proceedings and many others in reputed national and international journals and also holds editorship of many reputed journals including Frontiers. Dr. Fernando Mata has an academic background in Agronomy and Animal Production at the Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in Applied Maths. In addition, Dr. Mata completed his postgraduate studies in Pedagogy for Higher Education at The University of the West of England, UK. The skills gained while studying Maths and Animal Science led to him becoming an Animal Welfare Epidemiologist, the topic of his Doctorate in Veterinary Sciences at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
Professionally, he began his career as a dairy farmer and later moved into academia. He has lecturing experiences both in Portugal (Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre) and in the UK (University of the West of England, Newcastle University, Greenwich University and Wrexham Glyndwr University).
Currently, Dr. Mata is fully focused on research at the Centre for Research and Development in Agrifood Systems and Sustainability in the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo Portugal. Fernando has Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, is a Registered animal Scientist with the British Society of Animal Science and is a Certified Biologist with the Royal Society of Biology. Apart from Animal Welfare Epidemiology, Fernando is interested in Animal Production, and Animal Performance in general.
