Vicente Alarcon-Aquino

Vicente Alarcon-Aquino received his Ph.D. and D.I.C. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, London, U.K. in 2003. He is currently a Professor and former department head in the Department of Computing, Electronics, and Mechatronics at the Universidad de las Americas Puebla, Mexico. In 2017, he spent a short-term research stay as a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Informatics at King's College London, UK. He has authored over 180 research articles in several refereed journals and conference proceedings, has written a book on MPLS networks, and has several citations to his research articles. He has served as Guest Editor for the Journal of Universal Computer Science, and is currently acting as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access Journal and as an Academic & Section Editor for PeerJ Computer Science. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, belongs to the Mexican National System of Researchers, and has been elected to membership of the Mexican Academy of Sciences. His current research interests include cybersecurity, network monitoring, anomaly detection, wavelet analysis, and machine learning.

Paulo Jorge Coelho

Paulo Coelho graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2004 from Coimbra University, obtained his Specialization Course in Automation and Control in 2007 by Coimbra University, and a Ph.D. in Informatics in 2019 by Trás-Os-Montes and Alto Douro University.

He is an Adjunct Professor at the Electrical Engineering Department at the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic University of Leiria, where he has mainly lectured Curricular Units in the areas of Microprocessors, Industrial Automation and Computer Vision, since 2004.

Paulo Coelho is currently a former course director and former member of the Scientific-Pedagogical Committee for the Master's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Polytechnic of Leiria. He is currently an integrated researcher at ROBiTECH (Advanced Robotics and Smart Factories) group, in the INESC Coimbra (delegation in Leiria). He is also a member of the Portuguese Engineers Order and the Portuguese Association for Pattern Recognition.

His research interests are focused on industrial automation, computer vision-based applications, biomedical imaging analysis, ambient assisted living solutions, assistive technologies for reducing impairments, and the application of machine learning and deep learning in these research areas. He has authored more than 45 publications in refereed journals, book chapters, and conferences.

Sara Comai

Prof. Sara Comai is an associate professor within the Department of Electronics and Information at the Politecnico di Milano. She received her Ph.D. in IT and automatic engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2000.

Prof. Comai's research interests include the specification, design and automatic generation of complex Web applications.

Hongfei Hou

Hongfei Hou, a senior scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, has attained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Washington State University. His research area includes cloud computing and machine learning.

Bilal Khalid

Dr. Bilal Khalid received a Ph.D. in Industrial Business Administration from KMITL Business School, Bangkok, in 2021, and a master’s in International Business Management from Stamford International University, Bangkok, in 2017. Dr. Khalid's research interests include leadership and negotiations, digital transformations, gamification, eLearning, blockchain, big data, decarbonization, green entrepreneurial orientation, corporate social responsibility, sutainable management practices, and management of information technology. Dr. Bilal Khalid also serves as an academic editor at Journal of Computer Networks and Communication, Education Research International, and a reviewer for multiple international journals.

Nageswara Rao Moparthi

Dr. M. Nageswara Rao is a Professor within the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering, K L University, India. He has over 19 years of experience in the S/W industry and academia. Dr. M. Nageswara Rao has published over 20 articles in reputed international journals, written 2 books and filed 2 Indian patents. He is a reviewer for a number of SCI/SCIE journals, including IEEE Access and Journal of Big Data(JBD) Journal of Database Management, Cluster Computing , NHIB and Information Sciences; and Scopus journals, such as IJAIP, IJDS, CIT and IJECE. Dr. M. Michele Pasqua

Michele Pasqua is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Verona, Italy. His main research interests include abstract interpretation, program verification, static analysis, software testing, theoretical foundations of programming languages and software engineering, language-based security, and distributed systems.

He works actively in the software engineering and programming languages communities, being (co)author of more than 30 publications in international scientific journals and conference proceedings with peer review and regularly serving on international conferences and workshops program committees.

Rommel T J Ramos

The Rommel Ramos Professor of Bioinformatics of Federal University of Para (Brazil) affiliated member of Brazilian Science Academy and CNPq Researcher (level 1-D). Since 2008 works with genome assembly and RNA-Seq analysis, he is the leader of the bioinformatic development group of the Biologic Engineering Laboratory in Park of Science and Technology (Pará/Brazil).

Khalid Raza

Khalid Raza is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. Dr. Raza has been honored with “ICCR Chair Visiting Professor” by Indian Council for Cultural Relation (ICCR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of India and deputed at the Faculty of Computer & Information Sciences, Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt during academic session 2017-18. He has over 12 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Translational Bioinformatics and Computational Intelligence applications in healthcare. He has contributed over 120 research articles in reputed Journals and Edited Books. Dr. Raza has authored/edited 6 Books published by reputed publishers like Springer-Nature, Elsevier, and CRC Press. Dr. Raza is an Academic Editor of PeerJ Computer Science International Journal, and Guest Editor of the Journal Natural Product Communications. He has an active collaborations with the scientists from leading institutions of India and abroad, including AIIMS (New Delhi), ICMR-NIP, CSIR-IGIB, DRDO-INMAS, NIPGR, CCRUM, DPSRU, UFMG (Brazil), UoT Sydney (Australia), etc. He has reviewed over 200 research articles for reputed Journals/Conferences in the last 5 years. Dr. Raza has delivered several keynote addresses, invited talks, public lectures, and seminars in National and International conferences, workshops, and chaired technical sessions at various conferences. Recently, Dr. Raza has been featured in the list of Top 2% Scientists released by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier.

Dr. Joanna Rosak-Szyrocka is Erasmus+ coordinator at the Faculty of Management, Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland. She specializes in the fields of digitalization, industry 4.0, society 5.0, IoT, AI, quality management, and quality 4.0.

Syed Hassan Shah

Syed Hassan Shah is a Wi-Fi connectivity subject matter expert with the Qualcomm Inc. product management team, where he is involved in Consumer and Compute Wireless products with a focus on Mi-Fi, CPE, and UWB technologies. In addition to that, Dr. Shah is also an adjunct faculty member at California State University, Fullerton Campus, where he teaches computer science courses to graduate classes. Over the past decade, Dr. Shah held multiple industrial & academic roles such as a Product Specialist for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), CBRS, Private LTE, Digital Electricity, and open RAN product lines. Dr. Shah was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia Southern University, USA followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA. Before moving to the United States, he completed his BS with honors in CS from Kohat University of Science & Technology (KUST), Pakistan, and his Ph.D. Degree (combined with Masters) from the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), Kyungpook National University (KNU), Republic of Korea (South Korea). During the summer of 2015, he was invited as a distinguished visiting researcher at Georgia Tech, Atlanta, USA to investigate MAC layer findings in IEEE 1609.4 protocol stacks. Overall, Dr. Shah has authored/co-authored over 250 peer-reviewed international publications including Journal articles, Conference Proceedings, Book Chapters, and 05 books. In 2016, his work on robust content retrieval in future vehicular networks won the Qualcomm Innovation Award at KNU, South Korea. Dr. Shah's research interests include Wireless and Ad hoc Networks, Cyber-Physical Systems, Smart Cities, Connected Vehicles, and Future Internet architectures.

Furthermore, Dr. Shah is a Senior IEEE and ACM member, served as a TPC Member or Reviewer in over 100 International Conferences and Workshops including IEEE Globecom, IEEE ICC, IEEE CCNC, IEEE ICNC, IEEE VTC, IEEE INFOCOM, ACM CoNEXT, ACM MobiHoc, ACM SAC, and many more. Furthermore, he has been reviewing papers for over 50 different International Journals including IEEE Magazines on Wireless Communications, Networks, Communications, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Sensors Letters, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and Vehicular Technologies, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Big Data, and Mobile Computing. Moreover, Dr. Shah has been an editorial member of more than 60 Special Issues with top-ranked journals in Communication Society and served as an editorial board member of KSII Transactions on Internet & Information Systems, Wiley's Internet Technology Letters, Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies, IEEE Newsletters on Internet Initiative, Future Directions, and Software Defined Networks. Dr. Shah has been an appointee of the Board of Governors of the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society as liaison to IEEE Young Professionals society for the year 2018-2019. Since 2018, he is also an ACM Distinguished Speaker.

Junaid Shuja

Junaid Shuja is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. Previously, he served as Associate Professor at FAST-NUCES and Assistant Professor at COMSATS University, Pakistan. He completed his BS in Computer and Information Science from PIEAS, Islamabad, in 2009 and MS in Computer Science from CIIT Abbottabad, in 2012. He completed his Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2017. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the execution of SIMD instructions on heterogeneous mobile and cloud platforms. His research interests include the application of machine learning techniques in edge computing, energy-efficient cloud data centers, and mobile cloud computing. He has published research in more than 60 International journals and conferences.
