Carmelo La Rosa
Carmelo La Rosa is a Professor of Physical-Chemistry at the University of Catania, Italy. He received a master’s degree in Chemistry and Ph.D. in Physical-Chemistry from the University of Catania (Italy), working on lyotropic liquid crystals. After completing postdoctoral training on thermodynamics and kinetics of protein folding-unfolding at the University of Catania and Leiden University (The Netherland), he joined the department of Chemical Sciences, University of Catania. His current research focuses on the biophysics of amyloidogenic proteins and their interaction with model membranes.
Rachel Crespo Otero
Dr Rachel Crespo Otero is an Associate Professor in Computational Chemistry within the Department of Chemistry at University College London (UCL).
Her research interests include, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, Theoretical Photochemistry, Nonadiabatic Dynamics and Materials Science.
Pu-Ting Dong
Dr. Pu-Ting Dong earned her PhD from Boston University. Her research focused on the development and application of label-free optical imaging techniques to unveil hidden biomarkers in human diseases and human pathogens.
Dr. Dong's current research and long-term goals are devoted to the development and application of novel optical imaging technologies to study various biomarkers of human diseases towards molecule-based precision diagnosis and treatment of human diseases.
My S Andersson
Dr Andersson is an Assistant Professor in Experimental Neurology at Lund University and group leader of Cellular Neurophysiology and Epilepsy group. Her research focuses on underlying mechanisms of and new treatments for epilepsy in the developing brain. This is done using different methods, the main one being electrophysiology, in vivo and in vitro.
Corrado Spinella
Corrado Spinella has been Head of the Italian Micro– Nanosystems Technological District, Director of the Institute of Microelectronics and Microsystems, and presently he is Head of the Physics of Matter Department of the National Research Council. His research activity is focused on materials science and technology for microelectronics applications. A common feature characterizing all his scientific work is the investigation of the fundamental properties of materials and the finalization of results to concrete technological advances, through collaborations with the Microelectronics Industry. He is co-author of 250 scientific papers (h-index 34).
Isabel M Palacios

Mukund S Chorghade
Dr. Mukund Chorghade is President and Chief Scientific Officer, THINQ Pharma / MVRC Research/ Chicago Discovery Solutions. He has had Adjunct Research Professor / Visiting Fellow / Scientists appointments at Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Cambridge, Caltech, Univ. of Chicago, Rutgers, Strathclyde and others. He provides synthetic chemistry and pharmaceutical development expertise to academic laboratories, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. His research interests are in Traditional Medicine derived New Chemical Entities and the discovery of “chemosynthetic livers” that find utility in drug metabolism, valorization of biomass and environmental remediation.
Dr. Chorghade earned B. Sc. M. Sc. degrees from the University of Poona, and a Ph. D. at Georgetown University. He completed postdoctoral appointments at the University of Virginia and Harvard, visiting scientist appointments at University of British Columbia, College de France / Universite’ Louis Pasteur, Cambridge and Caltech and directed research groups at Dow Chemicals, Abbott Laboratories, CytoMed and Genzyme. He received three “Scientist of the Year Awards”, and is on the Scientific Advisory Board of several corporations / foundations. He is a Fellow of the ACS, AAAS, AIC and RSC, the Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telengana Academy of Sciences and has been a featured speaker in national and international symposia
Christophe Hano
Dr. Christophe Hano, completed his PhD in 2005 in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and is Associate Professor at the University of Orleans with research activities the ICOA Lab (UMR7311 CNRS). His research career has focused on applied plant metabolism, plant biotechnology and green (bio)chemistry.
Currently, he is developing research projects aimed at studying plant secondary/specialized metabolism to lead to the development of natural products with interests in the fields of pharmacology and/or cosmetics. In particular, his research focuses on the green extraction (NaDES) and analytical methods applied to plant polyphenols, elucidation of their biosynthetic patways and their exploitation by metabolic engineering approaches.
Zhiqiang Li
Zhiqiang Li was born in Shandong, China, in 1985. He obtained his PhD degree from Nankai University under the guidance of Prof. Yu Liu in 2014. Then he joined School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Hebei University of Technology. He was promoted as an Associate Professor in 2016. His current research interest is soft luminescent materials by integrating lanthanide complexes and matrices; Molecular recognition utilizing functional macrocycles

Shanmuga Sundar Dhanabalan
Dr. Shanmuga Sundar Dhanabalan is an accomplished researcher with a proven track record in designing, developing, and translating micro- and nano-scale devices. CIA’s primary objective is to advance the field of medical and healthcare by creating next-generation products that enhance quality of life and well-being, making a significant contribution to society. He is currently leading a team developing ‘wearable and connected sensors’ at RMIT University, focusing on materials, flexible and stretchable devices, wearables, optics, and photonics. CIA graduated with a Ph.D. in flexible electronics in June 2017. He secured a competitive Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Chilean government from 2018 to 2021. In 2021, he joined as a Research Fellow at RMIT University in Melbourne. CIA studies have led to 38 publications in referred international journals, 1 provisional patent, 1 Indian patent, 10 book chapters, and 7 books in progress as editor. He has presented at 19 national and international conferences. Several outcomes have been highlighted by scientific websites (such as Photonics Media, USA). CIA's research work has led to securing grants from Australian government research schemes, such as the Cooperative Research Centres Projects, the ARC Research Hub for Connected Sensors for Health, Victorian Medical Research Acceleration Fund, and the Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre's Commercialisation Fund.
Rubim Santos
Dr. Rubim Santos is Associate Professor at the School of Health, P. Porto and Director of the Center for Rehabilitation Research.
His primary research interests include biomechanics, human movement and postural control.
