Eduardo M Richter

Eduardo M. Richter is graduated in Chemistry from the University of Santa Cruzdo Sul, Brazil (1994), and received his master’s (2000) and Ph.D. degree (2004) in Analytical Chemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He completed a postdoctoral research at the University of São Paulo, Brazil during 2005. He is currently Associate Professor of the Institute of Chemistry at the Federal University of Uberlândia, Brazil. His current research interests focus on the development of new analytical methods using capillary electrophoresis with conductometric detection and flow-injection and batch-injection analyses with amperometric detection.

Dr. Quintas' primary areas of research focus on tackling the
novel psychoactive substances issue, linking its use to neurodegenerative diseases.

Duangjai Tungmunnithum

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duangjai Tungmunnithum completed her Ph.D. at Chulalongkorn University in 2016, and won the DPST Postdoctoral Fellowship to conduct her Postdoctoral research in Japan at the National Museum of Nature and Science focusing on medicinal plant and phytochemistry in the same year. After completing her research in Japan, she obtained a lecturer position at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahidol University, Thailand.

Her expertise is in biochemistry, innovative green extraction methods, biological activity both antioxidant and anti-aging from plant extracts and pure phytochemical compounds for cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications both in vitro, in vivo and in cellulo models.

According to her research profiles, she has received a large number of outstanding research both national and international levels e.g. the Junior Research Fellowship from French Government, Franco-Thai Mobility Programme 2020-2021 and LE STUDIUM Research Fellowship.

Dr. Mukund Chorghade is President and Chief Scientific Officer, THINQ Pharma / MVRC Research/ Chicago Discovery Solutions. He has had Adjunct Research Professor / Visiting Fellow / Scientists appointments at Harvard, MIT, Princeton, Cambridge, Caltech, Univ. of Chicago, Rutgers, Strathclyde and others. He provides synthetic chemistry and pharmaceutical development expertise to academic laboratories, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies. His research interests are in Traditional Medicine derived New Chemical Entities and the discovery of “chemosynthetic livers” that find utility in drug metabolism, valorization of biomass and environmental remediation.

Dr. Chorghade earned B. Sc. M. Sc. degrees from the University of Poona, and a Ph. D. at Georgetown University. He completed postdoctoral appointments at the University of Virginia and Harvard, visiting scientist appointments at University of British Columbia, College de France / Universite’ Louis Pasteur, Cambridge and Caltech and directed research groups at Dow Chemicals, Abbott Laboratories, CytoMed and Genzyme. He received three “Scientist of the Year Awards”, and is on the Scientific Advisory Board of several corporations / foundations. He is a Fellow of the ACS, AAAS, AIC and RSC, the Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Telengana Academy of Sciences and has been a featured speaker in national and international symposia

Christophe Hano

Dr. Christophe Hano, completed his PhD in 2005 in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and is Associate Professor at the University of Orleans with research activities the ICOA Lab (UMR7311 CNRS). His research career has focused on applied plant metabolism, plant biotechnology and green (bio)chemistry.

Currently, he is developing research projects aimed at studying plant secondary/specialized metabolism to lead to the development of natural products with interests in the fields of pharmacology and/or cosmetics. In particular, his research focuses on the green extraction (NaDES) and analytical methods applied to plant polyphenols, elucidation of their biosynthetic patways and their exploitation by metabolic engineering approaches.

Giovanni D'Orazio is permanent full time contract as researcher level III at CNR. (Council National Research).
Research sectors: 1) Analytical chemistry field; 2) Miniaturized chromatographic techniques: Capillary Electrophoresis and Electrochromatography (CEC), and nanoscale Liquid Chromatography (Nano-LC); 3) coupling with mass spectrometry; miniaturized sample preparation.

Recent Scientific Activities: 1) Development of nano-spray interfaces for coupling miniaturized techniques with mass spectrometry; 2) Development of analytical methods for separation of chiral and achiral of pharmaceutical and agrifood interest; 3) Packing procedure of capillary column (50-100 um ID) used in CEC and nano-LC; 4) Miniaturized sample preparation.

Lakshminarayanan Piramuthu

Dr. Lakshminarayanan Piramuthu is an Indian Inorganic Chemist and Professor at Kalasalingam University (Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education), India. He is known for his studies on chemical sensing of anions and molecular self-assembly. He is a recipient of the Research Fellowship of the CSIR-India. ISCA; the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Young Scientist Award for Science and Technology one of the highest Indian science awards, in 2007, for his contributions to chemical sciences.

Dr. Lakshminarayanan received his PhD from the Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, CSMCRI, Gujarat, India under the guidance of Professor Pradyut Ghosh, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India. For his first postdoctoral work he joined the group of Prof. Paul Cremer, at Texas A&M University, USA one of the world leading researchers on the development of bio analytical chemistry and spectroscopy;After, he also gained experiences from Professor M.H Haley and Professor Darren W Johnson, at University of Oregon, USA, Professor Omar M Yaghi & Kentaro at National Institute of Materials Science NIMS, Japan as Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Before joined in Kalasalingam University, India he worked as Research Scientist at Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, IBN, Singapore.

His research interests are focused on chemical sensing, anion coordination and molecular self-assembly.

Dr. Jyoti Mittal is presently listed as 2018 Highly Cited Researcher (HCR) by Clarivate Analytics in the Crossfield section. Out of 10 Indian HCR of 2018, she is the only woman scientist receiving this distinction. She is presently working as Assistant Professor at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal (India). She has obtained M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees in Chemistry from the renowned Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (India) and obtained Ph.D. degree from RGTU, Bhopal. She has published several research papers in the journals of high impact in the area of water treatment and authored many books.

Mehmet Yaman

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yaman received his Ph.D. in 1990 from the University of Inonu, Malatya-Turkey. Since 2002, he has been a Full Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Firat. Since 2005, he is an Editor-in-Chief of, the "International Journal of Pure and Applied Chemistry” journal- Global Research Publications, New Delhi-India. He supervised and assisted more than thirty students 11 Ph.D.; 22 M.Sc.

Mehmet Yaman has a track record of 120 publications (corresponding author in most of them) in peer-reviewed scientific journals (including Curr. Med. Chem. and J. Med. Chem.) and more than 3,000 citations. He is an invited speaker for international lectures and has given more than 130 talks for national and international conferences. Dr. Yaman is on the Editorial Boards of more than 10 journals and serves as a referee for more than 12 peer reviewed journals in the fields of chemistry, medicine and environment. Prof. Yaman’s research focuses on the preconcentration and determination of toxic trace elements in biological, environmental and food matrices as well as determination of trace organic compounds such as histidine, flavonoids, anthocyanins, PAHs and acrylamide in plants and grilled foodstuffs by using HPLC-MS.

Professor Yaman has managed two national and two international conferences.
