Liran Levin

Professor and Head, Division of Periodontology at University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry. Visiting Professor of Periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA. Published more than 180 articles and book chapters in the international professional literature and is involved in research mainly in periodontology, dental implants and dental trauma. Lecturing extensively both nationally and internationally.

Prof. Levin serves as an Associate Editor for the International Dental Journal, Scientific Associate Editor for the Quintessence International, Associate Editor for the Dental Traumatology and as an Editorial Board Member and a manuscript reviewer for some of the leading international professional Journals in the fields of periodontology, dental implants, dental trauma and general dentistry.

Prof. Levin has served as The Chairman of the Ethics in Dental Research Committee of the International Association for Dental Research (IADR). He is currently the secretary of the International Association for Dental Traumatology (IADT).

Arnold R. Salvacion

Arnold is a Research Fellow at Centre for Crop and Disease Management, Curtin University. He is an environmental scientist with more than 15 years of research experience in agriculture, natural resource, applied climate science, human ecology, quantitative geography, and geographic information system. In 2021, he was awarded as one of the Outstanding Young Scientists by the National Academy of Science and Technology (Philippines) for his contribution to the advancement of human ecological research in the country. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Human Ecology and Sustainability and also serves on the Editorial Board of Spatial Information Research, and SN Social Sciences.

Dr. Pierpaolo Pani is a Associate Professor within the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology, SAPIENZA, University of Rome. He received a MSc in Experimental Psychology and PhD in Neurophysiolgy (Behavioral and Integrative) at Sapienza University (Rome), and was a post-doc in KULeuven (Laboratory for Neuro- and Psychophysiology).

Dr. Pani's main topics of investigation include Cognitive control, executive functions, goal-oriented behavior and decision making. These topics include behavioral and psychophysiological investigations in humans; behavioral and neuronal dynamics investigations in mammals; characterization of executive functions control in psychiatric conditions.

Prior to this, I obtained a first class BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry in 1995 and a PhD in cellular pharmacology in 1998, both from Keele. My research so far involved identifying and studying novel molecules involved in apoptosis.

Carlos Gutiérrez, DVM (Córdoba, 1986), diplomate in Public Health (Madrid, 1988), PhD (Las Palmas, 1995), Master in Public Health (Las Palmas, 2003), University Expert in Biostatistics (Madrid, 2006), diplomate European College Small Ruminant Health Management (-ECSRHM-Brussels, 2013), is currently Full Professor at Research Institute of Biomedical and Health Sciencies/School of Veterinary Science, University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
He has developed several projects, collaborations and training periods in the Institute of Tropical Medicine (Antwerp, Belgium), Swiss Tropical and Public Health (Basel, Switzerlandor) or Vlaam Biotchnology Institute (Brussels, Belgium).
He has particular interest on animal tropical diseases (trypanosomosis in special) as well as biomedical applications of nanobodies (VHH). Currently he is an active member of different international committees like ad-hoc OIE group on non tse-tse transmitted animal trypanosomes (OIE, Paris), Camel Section of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP, Roma) or Teaching committee of the ECSRHM (Brussels) and belongs to several Societies like New York Academy of Sciences or National Geographic Society.
