Her current research focuses on investigating the molecular mechanisms of nitric oxide signaling pathway at the proteome levels using multipronged approach of mouse genetics, ex vivo mechanistic functional study as well as high throughput mass spectroscopy techniques.
Dr. Mohanty has expertise in pharmacology, physiology, and proteomics with emphasis in intracellular signal transduction and GPCR signaling directed towards designing therapeutic strategies for cardiovascular disorders. Technical cognizance encompasses fields of Smooth Muscle pharmacology, Integrative Physiology, Contraction Physiology, Proteomics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatic Data Analysis (and related softwares) for Mass Spectrometry data and In-Vivo skills.
Dr. Bo Huang is a Professor with the Department of Geography and Resource Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he is also the Associate Director of Institute of Space and Earth Information Science and the Director of MSc Program in GeoInformation Science. Prior to this, he held faculty positions at University of Calgary (Geomatics Engineering), Canada and National University of Singapore (Civil Engineering). His research interests are broad, covering most aspects of Geographical Information Science (GIScience), specifically: satellite image fusion for environmental monitoring, spatial/spatio-temporal statistics for land cover/land use change modeling, spatial optimization for sustainable urban and land use planning, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and web/wireless GIS for location-based services. Dr. Huang has published extensively in the field of GIScience, including over 130 refereed international journal articles, and serves as Executive Editor of Annals of GIS (Taylor & Francis) and Asia-Pacific Regional Editor of International Journal of Geographical Information Science (Taylor & Francis). He also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Comprehensive GIS, a three volume landmark GIS book to be published by Elsevier (Oxford). Currently he is exploring along the line of spatiotemporal data analytics, convinced that this new paradigm will revolutionize the way how geospatial data are integrated, analyzed and utilized in the future.
Dr. Lei Huang is a cancer epidemiologist, translational oncologist, digestive surgeon, surgical oncologist, and gastroenterologist. He has published about 50 papers in SCI(E)-indexed journals including Gut, Annals of Surgery, BMC Medicine, JAMA Surgery, Clinical Cancer Research, Cancer Immunology Research, International Journal of Cancer, EBioMedicine, and Gastric Cancer. His works have been cited for about 1000 times.
Dr. Huang has served on the editorial board of Frontiers in Oncology, World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology, PeerJ, Medicine, and Translational Cancer Research, and Frontiers in Surgery. He has been peer reviewer for about 50 SCI(E)-indexed journals including Annals of Internal Medicine, Annals of Surgery, Clinical Cancer Research, Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network-JNCCN, Cancer Letters, Oncoimmunology, and Oncologist. He was selected as Best Reviewer for Annals of Internal Medicine twice in 2017 and 2019.
Dr. Huang has been invited to give oral presentations in the ASCO Annual Meeting and International Gastric Cancer Congress (IGCC), and has received Merit Awards in the ESMO Annual Meeting and Awards for Young Investigators in the IGCC.
His research interests majorly cover the epidemiological, clinical, and translational aspects of digestive cancers. He has successfully coordinated several large international investigations with participants from the US and about 20 European countries.
I am a Professor in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester. My scientific career has taken me from a PhD in Biochemistry at UCL, London, via the European Molecular Biology Laboratory, back to Manchester in the UK where I undertook a Wellcome Trust fellowship, before gaining a Lectureship in 1998. My research covers themes in computational and systems biology and bioinformatics. We apply computational approaches to the study of biological systems and molecules, and my particular areas of interests are broadly in the areas of protein and genome bioinformatics including quantitative proteomics, regulation of gene expression (and particularly translation from mRNA to protein), and general bioinformatics.

Dr. Marquet is a Chilean Ecologist, known for his contributions in the fields of macroecology, theoretical ecology, conservation, and global change, and author of 190 publications including three books. Early in his carrier he started working on the quest for general principles underlying the complexity of ecological systems that contributed to the disciplines of metabolic ecology and ecological scaling. His work on the relationship between the size of organisms and their abundance proved to be of great generality as well as his work on the evolution of body size on landmasses; connecting body size to area, evolution, and fitness. He pioneered the development of Metapopulation models in dynamic landscapes uniting concepts from epidemiology and ecology and the emergence of power laws in ecological systems, being among the first to provide empirical evidence of Self-Organized Criticality in ecological systems using the extinction record of birds in Hawaii. In parallel, he carried important work on the conservation of vertebrate species and on the impact of climate change in the Americas and Europe. His current work focuses on the emergence of ecological diversity, the drivers and consequences of human cultural complexity and the integration of theories in ecology. He is member of the Chilean National Academy of Science, a former Guggenheim Fellow and member of the science board of several national and international organizations.

Laurent Metzinger has completed his PhD in Biological Sciences and Pharmaceutical studies in Strasbourg, France and was a postdoctoral fellow from the University of Oxford (UK) in a leading lab on Duchenne muscular Dystrophy (Pr. Kay Davies). He works on microRNA regulation in the HEMATIM team in Amiens, and focuses on anemia and related vascular disorders associated with Chronic Kidney DIsease. He has authored some of the first papers showing a role for microRNAs in CKD and published in reputed journals, including Nature and Cell. He teaches Biochemistry, Genetics and Molecular Biology in the Pharmacy School of Amiens (Université de Picardie Jules Verne).
