Ana Pavasovic
Dr. Pavasovic is an academic in the School of Biomedical Sciences at QUT. Her research interests are primarily in the area of physiological and functional genomics of marine invertebrates. Dr. Pavasovic uses molecular and bioinformatic approaches to answer questions relating to stress physiology and novel gene evolution in animal systems.
Maria Patrizia Stoppelli
Maria Patrizia Stoppelli is currently Research Director at Institute of Genetics and Biophysics, National Research Council, Naples (Italy). She has worked in prestigious Institutions like the NIH-NCI, Bethesda, Md and the MIT, Cambridge, MA and developed an internationally recognised research profile in tumour cell migration and invasion with over 65 publications and 2 patents to her name. In 2014, Dr Stoppelli qualified as Full professor in General and Clinical Biochemistry.
Sule Dogan
Dr. Sule Dogan has BSc in Biology from Ankara University, MSc in Embryology and another Master’s degree in science education, both from Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey. After completing her Andrology and Embryology training, she worked at the IVF Clinic of Dokuz Eylul University Medical School between 2007 and 2009. She completed her PhD in Life Sciences/ Genetics program at Mississippi State University. Dr. Dogan joined IVF Michigan Fertility Centers as an embryologist in 2013, started serving as the quality control and laboratory supervisor in 2015 and then became the laboratory director in 2019. She has opened up new andrology laboratories, trained many andrologists and embryologists. She is currently serving as the director of laboratory operations in many locations of IVF Michigan and IVF Ohio Fertility Centers. Dr. Dogan is a certified by ABB as Technical Supervisor in Andrology and Embryology, and as High Complexity Lab Director (HCLD). She has many publications in international journals, including many book chapters. Dr. Dogan has been serving as a reviewer for scientific journals and conferences since 2010.

Fabrizio Mattei
Dr. Fabrizio Mattei graduated from University “La Sapienza” in Rome and completed his specialization in biotechnologies and oncology at the same university. In 2000, he became a fellow at the Edward Jenner Institute for Vaccine Research in David Tough's laboratory (Newbury, U.K.), where he acquired experience in the field of dendritic cell immunology. He is currently a Researcher, Group Leader and Principal Investigator at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (Rome, Italy), where he has focused on the molecular interactions between dendritic cells and type I Interferons signalling.
His current research is aimed at understanding the role of Interferons signalling and IL-33 in the interface between tumor and immune system in both mouse and human models. Furthermore, he is also conducting research aimed at investigating on crosstalk between immune system and cancer by Cell-on-Chip devices. In addition, Dr. Mattei is developing a multidisciplinary laboratory network focused at the realization of Organ-On-Chip platforms, useful to mimic and study human diseases and cancer.
Abdelwaheb Chatti
Dr. Chatti Abdelwaheb is an Associate Professor in Carthage University at the faculty of Sciences of Bizerte, Tunisia. He acquired his PhD from the University of Carthage in 2007. Dr. Chatti's research interests are primarily in the area of life and environmental sciences with emphasis on the use of microorganisms and biomaterials in remediation. He has over 50 peer reviewed research publications in leading journals.
Ning Li
Prof. Li received his Medical Doctorate in 2005 as an outstanding graduate of the Chinese Union Medical University (CUMU). In the same year, he worked in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, where he served as an attending physician, deputy chief physician, and was appointed Chief Physician in 2019. He has a solid theoretical foundation and excellent research ability, and has accumulated rich clinical experience during my work. In 2017, he took over as the Director of the Office of Drug Clinical Trial Research Center, and his outstanding achievements in the management of clinical trial institutions and clinical and translational research, and is currently served as the chief expert of China GCP platform and Leading PI of international multicenter clinical trials of anti-cancer drug discovery. He is committed to new anti-tumor drug research, real-world research, full chain translation research of clinical trials, precision treatment of rare tumors and tumor big data research. His H-Index is 44 based on Web of Science. As a sub-project leader of the National 973 Major Project, the National Key R&D Program for Precision Medicine, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the GCP platform leader, and the leader of the 13th and 14th Five-Year Innovation Project, he has undertaken many research projects.

Biographical details:
I studied medicine in Cambridge and during my junior doctor years was very interested in both neurology and infectious diseases. Clinically I specialised in medical microbiology, keeping a particular interest in neurological infections. For the past 3 years I have been in Saudi Arabia developing a pathogen genomics laboratory where I have gained first-hand experience of second generation sequencing and bioinformatics.
Research interests:
Infectious diseases and medical microbiology are undergoing the most significant shift since PCR was introduced. By the end of this decade, sequencing will have become the main option when investigating any outbreak or infection. I study the interface between genomics as a pure science and its translation into clinical and public health benefits.
At present I am examining the worldwide genomics of tuberculosis, the use of sequencing to characterise MRSA strains and the genomic variations in BCG vaccine strains used around the globe.
Leticia Costa-Lotufo
Dr. Costa-Lotufo is a full professor at the Department of Pharmacology, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo. Her lab is focused on the discovery of new anticancer compounds from Brazilian marine biodiversity and studies on their mechanisms of action. She coordinate a multidisciplinary project to access marine microorganisms diversity and biotechnological potential along the Brazilian coast and islands. Dr. Costa-Lotufo’s activities include the supervision of undergraduate and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. She has published book chapters, review articles and more than 230 articles in peer-reviewed journals. On 2010, Dr. Costa-Lotufo was nominated as a young scientist of the Brazilian Academy of Science (2010-2014).
Huiting Wu
Dr. Huiting Wu is a lecturer in the School of Geosciences and Surveying Engineering at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) in Beijing, China.
Dr. Wu's research focus is on taxonomy, palaeoecology and morphology of brachiopod, mass extinction and biotic recovery. She is also interested in ecology and morphological changes of brachiopod in modern ocean, bivalves and ammonoids.
Dr. Wu is a graduate of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). Between 2016-2017, she was a visiting scholar in Deakin University. Between 2018-2010, she was a post-doctors fellow in the Peking University.
Reed A Cartwright
Head of Human and Comparative Genomics Laboratory in the Biodesign Institute at Arizona State University. Affiliated faculty with the Center for Evolution and Medicine, ASU.
My research is at the interface of genetics, statistics, and software development. I am primarily interested in developing statistical models to estimate evolutionary process from large, genomic datasets. Currently most of my research is connected to mutations.
