Bruno Fionda
Dr. Fionda graduated in Medicine and Surgery and subsequently specialized in Radiotherapy at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. He started working in 2016 at Gemelli-ART (Advanced Radiation Therapy) in Rome dealing with special techniques, such as Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT) which uses specific light sources to monitor the patient’s surface during therapy. Dr. Fionda worked with the first hybrid machine installed in Italy that combines modern linear accelerators (LINAC) with the acquisition of magnetic resonance images allowing to follow the movement of the internal organs in real time. He has also gained long experience in interventional radiotherapy (brachytherapy) with both high dose rate (HDR) and pulsed dose rate (PDR).
Dr Fionda is a member of the Italian Association of Radiotherapy and Clinical Oncology (AIRO) and of the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO). He is the author of over 100 publications including conference abstracts and research articles on national and international journals, and is adjunct Professor of Radiation Oncology at Saint Camilus International University of Healh Sciences.
Robert Fruscio
Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of Milan-Bicocca, in Monza, Italy and staff physician in the general Gynecological Unit of San Gerardo Hospital. Before MD graduation and during the residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology he conducted an intense preclinical research activity at Mario Negri Institute (Milan) and at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston). In 2010 he acquired a PhD in Gynecologic Oncology. His research interests are focused on molecular biology of ovarian cancer, and on prevention and treatment of gynecological malignancies.

Shou-Jiang (SJ) Gao
Dr. Gao is a Professor and Director of the Cancer Virology Program at the Hillman Cancer Center and in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
Dr. Gao is an Elected Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology. He currently serves as the Editor-In-Chief for the Journal of Medical Virology, Section Editor for PLoS Pathogens, and Academic Editor for PLoS One and PeerJ. He is also serving on the Editorial Boards of over 10 peer-reviewed journals including Journal of Virology, Journal of Antivirals & Antiretrovirals, Journal of Molecular Biomarkers and Diagnosis, Journal of Microbial & Biochemical Technology, Sarcoma Research International, Oncolytic Virotherapy, etc.
Roi Gazit
Roi Gazit, PhD., is Principal Investigator of Hematopoietic Stem Cell (HSC) transcriptome laboratory at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He is a member of the National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev (NIBN), and the Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells at BGU. Roi earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in life science and developmental biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He obtained PhD. in immunology, under supervision of Ofer Mandelboim, studying NK-cell in vivo, including the generation of the first NK specific mouse model and elucidation of novel NK-cell abnormalities in human patients. He conducted postdoctoral studies at the Harvard Medical School, at Derrick J. Rossi laboratory, focusing on the identification and utilization of HSCs’ genes, including reprogramming of committed blood cells into HSCs using defined transcription-factors and generation of a novel HSC-reporter mouse. His laboratory at the Ben-Gurion University is studying HSCs’ transcriptome along normal development, during immune-challenges, and the direct reprogramming of adult blood cells into HSCs.
Noushin Ghaffari
Dr. Noushin Ghaffari is a senior member of the bioinformatics team at Texas A&M AgriLife Genomics and Bioinformatics (TxGen), where she is involved in various projects from planning experiments to data analysis. She is also focused on method development and application projects that will impact scientific community. Her research activities have encompassed various areas of computational biology and have enabled her to study and learn more about the characteristics of multiple species. Furthermore, she intensely pursues her theoretical interests focusing on applications of mathematics in solving biological problems. Dr. Ghaffari has led numerous genome and transcriptome assembly projects for novel species such as cattle tick, gene discovery research though RNA-Seq studies, studying microbiome communities via metagenomics research and etc. Dr. Ghaffari has vast teaching experiences and continues to educate Texas A&M faculty/students/researcher on high performance computing, data analysis and bioinformatics.

Broader interests in translational medicine and the fostering of innovative solutions to problems in healthcare.
Andrew R Gray
I am a biostatistician in the Biostatistics Centre at the University of Otago, a role I have held since 2004. Most of my work involves collaborating on a wide range of research projects in the health sciences, particularly in paediatric obesity, sleep, and physical activity; respiratory epidemiology, mostly asthma and COPD; dentistry; and health systems. I also work on statistical methods research, mostly topics inspired by these collaborations.
Prior to my current position I was a software metrics and machine learning researcher in the Department of Information Science at the same institution.
Fanglin Guan
Prof. Fanglin Guan is Dean at Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is engaged in the integrated biological research of complex diseases, including tumor microenvironment and novel immunotherapeutic modalities, and research on the mechanisms and medical applications related to tumor cell vaccines, especially for the exploration of the mechanism of determining the biomarkers of complex diseases.

Dr. Deniz Can Güven is a medical oncologist in the Department of Medical Oncology at Hacettepe University.
