Mohd Adnan
Prof. Dr. Mohd Adnan is a Principal Investigator and Head of Academic Committee at Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Ha'il, Saudi Arabia. He did his PhD from University of Central Lancashire, UK; Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Bangalore University, India; Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from SJAIT, India. He has more than 14 years of research, teaching and administrative experience. In his professional capacity, he has received various travel, observership and research grants as a Principal Investigator from various prestigious organizations.
He has successfully published 250+ publications in internationally recognized peer reviewed reputed journals, several book chapters for internationally renowned publishers and presented many papers and posters in various conferences/workshops globally. He has published widely in the field of phytomedicine, biofilms, drug discovery, natural products, nutraceuticals and functional foods with specialization in plant-based antibiofilm and anticancer agents, microbial biosurfactants, biofilms in food industry and medical settings, probiotics and cancer biology, novel biomolecules for/as health and antimicrobial agents.
He has reviewed 400+ manuscripts for 70+ internationally recognized peer-reviewed JCR journals and grant reviewer for many prestigious universities and organisations. In addition, he is a member of SFAM, UK and ESCMID, Switzerland and an Elected Member of Royal Society of Biology, UK. He also currently holds different editorial positions (Associate, Academic, Guest and Review Editor) in various esteemed journals and has edited 500+ manuscripts.
Supreet Agarwal
I am a cancer biologist with 13+ years of experience and diverse background in clinical pharmaceutical sciences, cancer stem cells, cancer therapeutics, and data analytics. My research has focused on using innovative 3D organoid models for the understanding of cancer cell signaling pathways to facilitate cancer biomarker discovery and drug discovery for metastatic castrate resistant prostate cancer. I have successfully completed multiple preclinical trials of which two drugs are currently in clinical trials. Some of the methodologies I have gained expertise in include high-throughput drug screening, preclinical trials, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, CRISPR screens, patient-derived xenografts, 3D organoid cultures, bioinformatics tools, and statistical analysis.
Spiros N Agathos
Spiros N. Agathos, Ph.D. is Professor of Bioengineering at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium since 1993 and, since 2015, he is Inaugural Dean of Biological Sciences and Engineering at Yachay Tech, the first research-intensive university in Ecuador and a hub of innovation in South America.
He is an expert in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, with interests in biocatalyst development, bioprocess optimisation, bioreactor design and scale-up, ecogenomics, and biotechnology for sustainability. He has a PhD in biochemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and served on the faculties of the University of Western Ontario (Canada) and Rutgers University (New Jersey, USA) and as a visiting professor in Europe and the Americas.
He has published over 200 articles, 4 books and 4 patents. He has been Editor or Editorial Board member of many journals and serves on numerous committees for science and technology policy. He is a consultant to governments and industry, while his former students and postdocs have significant academic and industrial positions across the globe. Among his many awards, he is an elected Fellow of the American Institute for Medical & Biological Engineering (AIMBE), of the Society for Industrial Microbiology & Biotechnology (SIMB) and of the International Water Association (IWA).
Sergio Agnoli
Sergio Agnoli is an associate professor at the University of Trieste and a senior scientist at the Marconi Institute for Creativity. His research interests include: creative thinking process; cognitive and emotional substrates of creative thinking; neurophysiological and psychophysiological substrates of creative thinking; emotional intelligence; psycho-physiology of emotions.

Abinash Agrawal
Dr. Agrawal is a Professor of Earth & Environmental Sciences, Wright State University. In the past, he served as Director of Graduate Programs, and Associate Chair, in Earth & Environmental Sciences dept., Wright State University.
Dr. Agrawal has been visiting professors/scholars at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio (2014); School of Earth Sciences, Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio (2013); Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD (2004); Center for Higher Learning, NASA’s Stennis Space Center, MS (2003). Prior to his appointment at Wright State University in 1995, he worked as a post-doctoral Research Associate at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (1995), and a Fellow of the National Science and Engineering Research Council, Canada (1994-95).
Dr. Agrawal has presented invited talks at the numerous national and international academic institutions, which include Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India (2017); Ministry of Human Resource and Development of the Gov’t of India (2016); Harbin Institute of Technology, State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and Environment, Harbin, P.R. China (2015); Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India (2014); School of Earth Sciences, Ohio State University (2014), etc. In Spring 2016, Dr. Agrawal organized a symposium titled 'Advances in In-situ Pollutant Destruction by Nanoscale Zero-Valent Iron & Other Engineered Nanoparticles' at the 251st American Chemical Society Annual Meeting in San Diego.
Susana Agusti
Dr. Susana Agusti is Professor of Marine Science at KAUST (King Abdullah University of Science and Technology) at the Red Sea Research Center, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Tromsø (Norway).
She holds Bachelors and Ph.D. degrees from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
Formerly she was Research Professor with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), and Professorial Fellow with the UWA Oceans Institute and the School of Plant Biology at the University of Western Australia (Australia).

Associate Prof. of Bioengineering, University of Pisa, Head of In-Vitro Models Group and NanoBioscopy Lab at the National Council of Research Institute of Clinical Physiology (CNR-IFC). Also involved in capacity building in the field of Biomedical Engineering, in association with UNECA and FABLAB Pisa .Author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and of several patents on microfabrication and on bioreactors, co-founder of 2 high-tech companies.
Faheem Ahmad
Dr. Faheem Ahmad is Assistant Professor of Plant Pathology and Nematology in the Department of Botany at Aligarh Muslim University, India. Author of over 40 peer-reviewed publications, his research interests include plant-nematode interaction, mass spectrometry-based metabolomics, nematode management and nematicidal bioagents.
Syed Mudasir Ahmad
Dr. Syed Mudasir Ahmad is a Professor at the Division of Animal Biotechnology, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, India. Dr. Mudasir has done his PhD in Biotechnology from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and Post-doctorate from the university of California, Berkeley USA. He has more than 15 years of research and teaching experience. He is recipient of several national and international awards and fellowships. The areas of his research include Animal genomics and bioinformatics. He has been working on Animal health and production using omics approaches like transcriptomics, proteomics and epigenetics. The main focus of his research is to analyze gene expression across a wide range of different tissues and cell types from multiple developmental stages. He is using mammalian cell models to understand the regulatory mechanisms for gene expression of both coding and noncoding RNAs and their signaling pathways. He is also targeting Stem cells for tissue regeneration in animals. Dr. Mudasir is the author of many books in the field of his research. He is also editorial board member of several reputed journals.
Md Atique Ahmed
Dr Md Atique Ahmed is at present working as a Scientist under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India at the Regional centre of Northeast India (RMRC, NE), Dibrugarh, Assam, India.
Dr Ahmed's scientific career has been dedicated to the study of protozoan parasites in humans and primates, which includes all Plasmodium species, primarily Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium knowlesi. He has genetically and functionally characterised many plasmodium invasion antigens. His research interest mainly focuses population genetics/gemomics of Plasmodium parasites.
Jyrki Ahveninen
Dr. Jyrki Ahveninen is Associate Professor of Radiology, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Department of Radiology. His work focuses on neuroimaging of human auditory system, auditory working memory and higher-order auditory cognition using techniques including fMRI, MEG/EEG and TMS/EEG.
