Dr. Ajinkya Pawar is a dedicated researcher and enthusiastic adopter of new technologies which improve treatment results both for doctors and patients. He has decided to dedicate his work life to broaden and expand his knowledge for Endodontics. In his young span as Endodontist, he has already published more than 90 scientific studies in both National and International Indexed Journals with high Impact Factors, and a few more in press and under preparation, together with high ranked International Researchers.
He is passionate about learning new developments in Endodontics and he has travelled around the world pursuing this passion. I am interested in understanding all the dimensions and effects of human relations with nature, this is the reason my approach is interdisciplinar. My research interests involve anthropology, evolutionary psychology, cultural evolution, human behavioral ecology, ethnobiology, human ecology, ecology and evolution. I try to understand how we co-evolve with the environment and other species. This is why I explore how the human mind has been evolutionarily shaped to deal with the complexity of the world we live in, as well as all the processes associated with the transmission and storage (memory) of information and strategies for exploration and management of natural resources. I am also interested in the evolution of science and scientometry, and cognitive and cultural evolution in the human species.
I have been working on the molecular mechanisms of cancer progression and metastasis for the last ten years, identifying signaling pathways that promote cancer progression using various in vitro and in vivo models. During this time, I have published 30 articles with more than 2000 citations, and 12 papers have been cited as being in the top 10% of the field. They have mostly appeared in high-impact journals such as Sci. Adv., Nat. Comm., J. Exp. Med., Clinical Can. Res., Oncogene, Cancer Res., Cancer Letters. My research is primarily concerned with mechanistic and translational studies of tumor-initiating cells, the microenvironment, and non-coding RNAs in the context of cancer progression and metastasis. My long-term research goal is to conduct basic and translational research to elucidate the underlying mechanism(s) driving cancer metastasis and identify therapeutic targets, especially for highly aggressive metastatic cancers. In addition, I also serve on the editorial boards of three cancer-related journals. Before joining the department of Cancer Biology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, I was a senior research officer (SRO) at the Delhi State Cancer Institute, India (Govt. of India).

Yegor Vassetzky graduated from the Moscow State University. After a PhD thesis in molecular biology at the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology in Moscow, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in laboratories of Klaus Scherrer (Paris), Susan Gasser (Lausanne) and Marcel Méchali (Montpellier). Since 2002 he heads the laboratory of Nuclear Organization and Pathologies at Gustave Roussy Institute (Villejuif, France). His main research interests concern epigenetic regulation in cancer and neuromuscular diseases. Yegor Vassetzky is Associate Editor for Biopolymers & Cell, and member of the Editorial Board of PeerJ and Oncotarget.
Assistant Professor of Biostatistics, Mayo Clinic. Ph.D., University of Pennsylvania. My research concerns the development and application of powerful and robust statistical methods for high-dimensional "omics" data, arising from modern high-throughput technologies such as microarray and next-generation sequencing. I am particularly interested in methods for microbiome sequencing data. Much of this effort is motivated by ongoing collaborations in projects that study the role of the human microbiome in disease pathogenesis using metagenomic sequencing.
Research interests include statistical genetics, genomics and metagenomics; and high-dimensional statistics.

Dr. Paripok Phitsuwan is Assistant Professor in the Division of Biochemical Technology at King Mongkut's Univeristy of Technology, Thonburi.
Dr. Phitsuwan's research focuses on biomass conversion and processing, particularly lignin valorization. He is interested in carbohydrate and lignin active enzymes and their applications in biotechnology-relevant industries and environmental remediation.
Currently Dr. Gilbert works for ICON plc, one of the leading CROs in the world, as a Senior Statistical Analyst. He has over 25 years of research and statistical programming experience. Before joining ICON, Greg supported 2 medical schools, a nursing school, & a vet school doing educational & clinical research. Greg is an accredited statistician by the American Statistical Association. In his position he leads development of statistical analysis plans, executes programming deliverables on multiple projects, and applies standard programming methods using SAS® for complex data reporting tasks. He communicates deliverable results with clients participating in the development of abstracts, presentations, and manuscripts. In addition to working at ICON plc, Dr. Gilbert is a biostatistician at SigmaStats Consulting, LLC a firm specializing in assisting doctoral students in completing their research or projects. Greg has co-authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications and 4 book chapters. He has experience with complex statistical methodologies including survival analysis (Kaplan Meier and proportional hazard), linear regression, mixed model regression, reproducible results, G theory, psychometrics, and R. Prior to receiving his EdD, Greg received a MSPH in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from the Univ of South Carolina (1991) and a BA in Psychology from Baylor (1987). He currently resides in Charleston, SC USA with his wife of over 30 years and 2 basset hounds.
