Dr. Aarti Gupta is a Research Scientist at the Institute of Genomics for Crop Abiotic Stress Tolerance (IGCAST), Texas Tech University.

She obtained her Ph.D in Plant Genetics and has expertise in the area of plant stress biology and plant molecular biology

Lead Scientist, Koonin Group at the Computational Biology Branch, National Center for Biotechnology Information, National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, Maryland).

Darren M Parsons

Darren completed degrees at the University of Auckland where he used acoustic tracking technology to study fish movement within a marine reserve. He then completed a PhD at North Carolina State University where he investigated the effect of a recreational fishery on spiny lobster. Since 2006 Darren has been at NIWA, where he has investigated a range of fish ecology projects, focusing on the value of juvenile fish nurseries and climate change effects on fish larvae. More recently Darren's work has focused on fisheries monitoring projects such as describing the age distribution of inshore fisheries and estimating relative indices of abundance via trawl and potting survey's and CPUE analyses. In 2017 Darren was co-appointed through the University of Auckland's Joint Graduate School in Coastal and Marine Science.

Önder Yildirim

Dr. Onder Yildirim is a Professor in the Faculty of Fisheries at Muğla Sıtkı Kocman University, Muğla, Turkey. He gained his MSc degree, at Faculty of Marine Sciences, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) Sürmene Faculty of Marine Science in Trabzon, and his PhD degree at Faculty of Fisheries, Ege University in Izmir. Dr. Yildirim has performed research on fish nutrition subjects for over 25 years.

Sarper Yilmaz

Dr. Sarper Yılmaz is an associate professor within the Department of Medicine at the University of Health Sciences, Kartal Dr. Lutfi Kirdar City Hospital

I am a dedicated emergency physician and disaster management specialist. My journey in the field of medicine began with a firm educational foundation, starting from Kemalpaşa Primary School with Pension and culminating in my specialization at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities across different medical institutions, including roles as a general practitioner at Batman Regional State Hospital, a resident at Istanbul Training and Research Hospital, and as an emergency physician at Agri State Hospital and Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar City Hospital. These experiences have enriched my understanding of emergency medicine and honed my skills in managing diverse medical emergencies.

I earned my Master's degree in Health Management in Emergencies and Disasters from Yeditepe University, reflecting my commitment to advancing the field of disaster medicine. He has actively contributed to scientific research, with numerous publications in reputable journals, covering topics ranging from trauma management to the impact of biological agents on emergency departments.

Beyond clinical practice and research, I have assumed leadership roles in professional societies, serving as the chairman of the Disaster Commission of the Turkish Emergency Medicine Association and contributing as a member of the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM). Additionally, I've served on the editorial boards of esteemed medical journals, furthering the dissemination of knowledge in emergency medicine and disaster preparedness.

My passion for education and community outreach is evident in my extensive engagement in training programs, including over 400 Basic Life Support sessions conducted across various institutions and organizations. I believe in a holistic approach to emergency medicine, addressing not only medical interventions but also societal awareness, pre-hospital emergency systems, and patient management strategies.

In summary, my professional journey reflects a deep-seated commitment to improving emergency healthcare delivery, enhancing disaster preparedness, and advancing medical knowledge through research and education. As I continue to navigate challenges and opportunities in the dynamic field of emergency medicine, I remain steadfast in my dedication to making a meaningful impact on patient care and community resilience.

Shailendra Kumar Verma

Dr. Shailendra Kumar Verma is currently a postdoctoral fellow at La Jolla Institute for Immunology, California, USA. He pursued his Ph.D. from Central Drug Research Institute, India in the field of vaccine immunology. Dr. Verma joined DRDE, and had been a scientist since 2005 to 2021. His major research area focused onto the vaccine and therapeutic development against infectious diseases. He has published more than 25 publications in peer reviewed journals of highly repute. Dr. Verma has more than 15 years of research experience in infection and immunology. His present research at La Jolla institute for Immunology is focused onto the vaccine/therapeutic development against SARS-CoV-2 and ZIKA virus.

Cemal Turan

Cemal Turan is a Professor in the Department of Marine Sciences at Iskenderun Technical University, Turkey.

His primary research interests include Marine Biodiversity, Fisheries, Alien Species, Molecular Ecology and Biotechnology.

Maurice Mohr

Maurice was born in Wuppertal, Germany and completed his undergraduate degree in “Sports and Technology (B.Sc.) at the Otto-von-Guericke University of Magdeburg in 2012. In 2013, Maurice moved to the University of Calgary, Canada where he spent the next six years working under the supervison of Dr. Benno Nigg at the Human Performance Laboratory. Following an internship in 2013, Maurice became a M.Sc. student at the Faculty of Kinesiology that same year and pursued a doctoral degree between 2015-2018. His work in Calgary focused broadly on the study of lower extremity movement and muscle activation during athletic tasks with specific application in the field of knee injury rehabilitation. During this time, Maurice also conducted research for Biomechanigg Sport & Health Research, a company supporting clients in the sporting goods and health industry. Maurice completed his PhD in Biomechanics at the end of 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Nigg and co-supervision of Dr. Carolyn Emery. In 2019, Maurice started a Post-doc position at the Department of Sports Science of the University of Innsbruck where he worked in the “Neurophysiology Research Group” of Prof. Peter Federolf. Currently, Maurice is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Sports Science in Innsbruck and works at the intersection of biomechanics, motor control, and training science to help prevent knee injuries in sports.

Eduardo Macedo Penna

Dr. Eduardo Macedo Penna has a Phd in sports sciences and is a Full Professor at the Universidade Federal do Pará.

His research agenda includes psychophysiological regulation of exercise and human performance.

Carlos M. de Noronha

Dr. Carlos de Noronha is Associate Professor within the Department of Immunology and Microbial Disease at Albany Medical College, USA.

His research focus is in the field of Microbiology, more specifically HIV, Molecular Virology, Viral Infection, Virus Diseases, Viral Immunology, Immunology of Infectious Diseases and Emerging Infectious Diseases.
