Faizan Kashoo

Mr. Faizan Zaffar Kashoo is affiliated with the University of Majma'ah's Department of Applied Medical Sciences. He is currently serving in the role of lecturer. He has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals and presented scientific papers worldwide. Because of the contributions and active association with various societies and academies. Subject-matter experts all over the world acknowledge him. His contributions are recognized by numerous prestigious awards, including the best inventor award at the 43rd inventors meeting in Geneva. Clinical and scientific research interests of Dr. Faizan Zaffar Kashoo include stroke rehabilitation, Bell's palsy, neurorehabilitation, telerehabilitation, and transcranial brain stimulation.

Giuseppe Lanza

Dr. Giuseppe Lanza was born in Catania (Italy) in 1982. He currently works as a Senior Academic Researcher and Assistant Professor at the University of Catania (Italy). After graduation with honours in Medicine, he trained at the School of Neurology and got the international PhD at the same University. As visiting Clinical Research Fellow, he further trained at the Department of Neuroscience and Clinical Neurophysiology of the Newcastle University (UK). In 2013 he was selected for a Scientific Fellowship promoted by the European Federation of Neurological Societies (EFNS). From 2013 to October 2018, he worked as a Consultant Neurologist at the “Oasi Research Institute–IRCCS” in Troina (Italy), which is a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization (WHO), and where now he currently holds the position of Chief of the Clinical Neurophysiology Research Unit. From 2015 to October 2018, he taught Neurology at the University of Enna (Italy). He has authored more than 150 publications in internationally-indexed peer-reviewed Journals and Conferences or Meetings, and he currently serves as Editor and invited Reviewer of several international Journals. More recently, he has obtained the Master of Science in Clinical Research and the National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor (procedure for the Italian University Professor recruiting, based on criteria of scientific qualification).

David Levine

David Levine, PT, PhD, DPT, Diplomate ABPTS, CCRP, Cert. DN
Dr. Levine is a Professor and the Walter M. Cline Chair of Excellence in Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is an adjunct professor at the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine and North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, he is board certified as a specialist in orthopedics by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is also certified in dry needling. Dr. Levine has been working and conducting research in many areas with an emphasis in veterinary physical rehabilitation and is co-director of the University of Tennessee certificate program in canine rehabilitation. He is a co-editor of multiple books including “Canine Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy”, “Essential Facts of Physiotherapy in Dogs and Cats”, and Gait Analysis: An Introduction. He continues to practice in canine rehabilitation and human physical therapy in addition to his University position. He has presented at over 100 conferences, and has lectured in more than a dozen countries. Dr. Levine has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals with over 75 publications. His latest research focuses on bacterial contamination in medical equipment, animal assisted therapy, and laser to improve muscle endurance.

Feng Liu

Feng Liu received his Ph.D. degree from the School of Life Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and went on to work in the Department of Radiology and Tianjin Key Laboratory of Functional Imaging, Tianjin Medical University General Hospital, China. Now he is an associate professor and his current research interests include Brain and Cognition, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Imaging Genetic and Multivariate Pattern Analysis.

Current research focuses on investigating the impact of the environmental factors (e.g., green space, PM 2.5, etc) on human brain measured by magnetic resonance imaging.

Denis J. Marcellin-Little

Dr. Marcellin-Little is a veterinary orthopedic surgeon who has been doing research for approximately 20 years in the field of joint replacement, limb deformities, physical rehabilitation, and biomodeling/biomanufacturing. He has a particular interest in the interface between computers and orthopedics. He is a member of the Center of Additive Manufacturing and Logistics at North Carolina State University and an adjunct in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering (at NCSU), Industrial and Systems Engineering (at NCSU), and Physical Therapy (at UT-Chattanooga).

Guillermo Mendez-Rebolledo

Guillermo Mendez-Rebolledo received his Doctoral Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Science from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (2020), his Master in Health Sciences and Sport from Universidad Finis Terrae (2013) and his Bachelor of Physical Therapy from Universidad de Talca (2009). His research interest is Muscle Physiology and Motor Control with a special focus on Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy. Prof. Mendez-Rebolledo currently works at the Escuela de Kinesiología, University Santo Tomás (Chile).

Carla Minoia

Dr. Carla Minoia is a MD at IRCCS Istituto Tumori "Giovanni Paolo II" Bari (Italy). Her PhD involved clinical research on lymphoma, survivorship, and quality of life.

Roxana Ramona Onofrei

Onofrei Roxana Ramona is Professor at „Victor Babes” University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, Department of Rehabilitation, Physical Medicine and Rheumatology and member of the Research Centre of Assessment of of Human Motion, Functionality and Disability. She works as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist at the Sports Medicine Clinic - „Pius Brinzeu” County Emergency Hospital Timisoara. Her main research activity focuses on balance, gait and postural analysis.

Michelle Ploughman

Canada Research Chair in Rehabilitation, Neuroplasticity and Brain Recovery, Dr. Ploughman is a recognized expert in neuroplasticity and neurorehabilitation in stroke and multiple sclerosis. Her research focuses on the effects of aerobic exercise, intensive training paradigms and lifestyle habits on the brain challenged by injury, disease and aging. Dr. Ploughman continues to practice as a neurological physiotherapist in St John’s and her Recovery and Performance Laboratory is located in the Rehabilitation Research Unit (RRUNL), L.A. Miller Centre, St. John’s NL, Canada.

Stephen Rajan Samuel

Dr. Stephen Samuel is a leader in the field of exercise oncology. He is a Fulbright alumni, the past vice chair (2016-2020) & past chair (2020-2023) of the fatigue study group of the multinational association of supportive care in cancer (MASCC) and the recipient of the Young Investigator of the year in cancer award by MASCC in 2015.He is the program director and Associate Professor of Exercise Science at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University, Ohio, USA. Over the last one decade Dr. Samuel has published his work in exercise oncology in some of the highly reputed journals in collaboration with researchers from various parts of the world.

Daniel J van den Hoek

Dr Dan van den Hoek is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of the Sunshine Coast (QLD, Australia). His research interests are in sports performance analysis, strength adaptation and expression across the lifespan, and the use of exercise as medicine.
