Debabrata Goswami

Dr. Debabrata Goswami is the Prof. S. Sampath Endowed Chair Professor of Chemistry and Adjunct Professor of Center for Lasers and Photonics of IIT Kanpur. He is the elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Institute of Physics (UK), the Optical Society (OSA) and the SPIE. He is the winner of the 2018 Galileo Galilei Prize of the International Commission of Optics, the Thathachari Award, the Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellowship, and the Swarnajayanti Fellow. He is the Vice President of the IEEE Photonics Society India, Past Chairman, Photonics-2016. He has written over 200 papers and was in the Editorial Board of the Rev of Scientific Reports (AIP).

Prof. Goswami is the Editor-in-Chief of PeerJ Analytical Chemistry.

Christophe Hano

Dr. Christophe Hano, completed his PhD in 2005 in Plant Physiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and is now Assistant Professor at the University of Orleans at Research INRAE Lab LBLGC USC1328 and a member of the Cosm'ACTIFS Research Group (CNRS GDR3711). His research career has focused on applied plant metabolism, plant biotechnology and green (bio)chemistry.

Currently, he is developing research projects aimed at studying plant secondary metabolism to lead to the development of natural products with interests in pharmacology or cosmetics. His research focuses on the green extraction and analytical methods applied to plant polyphenols, elucidation of biosynthetic mechanisms of plant natural products and their exploitation by metabolic engineering approaches.

Rachel Ann Hauser-Davis

Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) Public Health and Environment researcher. Biologist and Master and PhD in Sciences - Analytical Chemistry. Her lines of research include Science Education, Environmental Chemistry, Ecotoxicology, Oxidative Stress and Proteomics and Metalloproteomics applying Bioanalytical techniques.

Thilina U. Jayawardena

Dr. Thilina Jayawardena is a Post Doctoral Research Fellow within the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Physics at the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières.

His primary areas of research include natural product chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and bioactive molecules, with a particular emphasis on specialized metabolites.

Tobias Kind

My research interests are in computational mass spectrometry, computational metabolomics and cheminformatics with a focus on structural elucidation of small molecules.

Sapna Langyan

Sapna Langyan is a scientist at ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi, India. She holds an experience of more than 11 years in agricultural research. She aims to contribute towards food and nutritional security of the world and alleviating malnutrition through research support. She has more than 30 research papers, book chapters, conference proceedings and many others in reputed national and international journals and also holds editorship of many reputed journals including Frontiers. She has also edited one book on ‘Maize: Nutrition dynamics and novel uses’, published by Springer https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9788132216223. She has been awarded many prestigious awards, fellowship and grants throughout her research career by premier science academies and by the Govt. of India.

Young-Ho Lee

Dr. Young-Ho Lee is a Principal Researcher at the Research Center for Bioconvergence Analysis, Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI), South Korea.

Hi primary area of research includes calorimetry, CD, and NMR.

Julia Martín

Julia Martín obtained her Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2012 at University of Seville (Spain). She is Assistant Professor in the Department of Analytical Chemistry (University of Seville) since 2013. Her principal research interests fall into the three interrelated areas of environmental, analytical and water sciences. She is particularly interested in the development of new methodologies for the determination of majority and emerging pollutants in environmental and biological matrices. These methodologies are then applied to evaluate the occurrence and fate of pollutants to obtain information about their potential toxicological effects to the ecosystems. Her interest is also focused on the history of chemistry and on the methodological aspects of analytical science. She is a co-author of more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals, 20 book chapters, H-index 18 and 875 citation.

Andres W Martinez

I received my BS in chemistry from Stanford University and my PhD in chemistry from Harvard University, with George Whitesides. My research is focused on the development of low-cost point-of-care diagnostic devices, which involves analytical chemistry, paper-based microfluidics, fabrication, materials science and engineering.

Nicolas Mazzella

My work focuses on analytical chemistry with the development of methods for the analysis of organic micropollutants. I am also interested in passive sampling techniques to characterise the exposure of aquatic organisms (microalgae, biofilms).

In addition, I am carrying out analytical developments in the field of lipidomics to propose biomarkers of toxic effects in aquatic plants and marine or freshwater fish.

Ralph Mead

I am an organic geochemist studying the fate and transport of anthropogenically and natural derived organic compounds in the Anthropocene.

Timothy Omara

Dr. Timothy Omara is a researcher with the Institute of Chemistry of Renewable Resources, Department of Chemistry, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), Austria. He is also an Assistant Lecturer of Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, College of Natural Sciences, Makerere University, Uganda.

He was previously with the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, School of Sciences and Aerospace Studies, Moi University, Kenya, and affiliated with the Centre of Excellence II in Phytochemicals, Textile and Renewable Energy (PTRE) hosted at the same University.

Dr. Omara holds computer literacy, research assiduity and proven track record of publications and refereeing across international peer-reviewed journals, with research interests including-but not limited to- food toxicology, analytical, natural products and environmental chemistry employing advanced analytical techniques.

He has published over 75 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters as of March 2024, and currently serves as an Academic Editor in PLOS ONE, PeerJ Analytical Chemistry, Journal of Food Quality and VEGETOS (Springer)
