Eoin L Brodie
Eoin Brodie is a Senior Scientist in the Ecology Department of Berkeley Lab’s Earth and Environmental Sciences Area (EESA). Dr. Brodie serves as the Deputy Director of the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division. At the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Brodie is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Science, Policy and Management. He obtained his Ph.D. from University College Dublin in Ireland and joined LBNL following postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley.
Ana Tereza Ribeiro Vasconcelos
Ana Tereza Vasconcelos is Senior Researcher Scientist at the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing and coordinator of the Bioinformatics Laboratory and the Computational Genomics Unit Darcy Fontoura de Almeida at National Laboratory of Scientific Computation (LNCC). Her team has experience in the area of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Using High Performance Computing and AI working on the following topics: Genomics, Development of software applications in Bioinformatics and computational tools applied assembly, annotation and comparison of genomes, metagenomics, exomes and transcriptomics applied to many different model organisms. Since 2020 he has worked in the generation and analysis of SARS-CoV-2 genomes, mainly in the identification of new lineages.
Xiaocheng Zhu
Research Offcier from Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute, NSW Department of Primary Industries. I am working on the genetics of economically important species.
Steven Heritage
Dr. Steven Heritage is a teaching professor in the Department of Genetics, Cell Biology, and Anatomy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is a a clinical & evolutionary anatomist, mammalogist, and phylogenetic biologist mainly working on African mammals. He also serves as a coordinator for the IUCN SSC Afrotheria Specialist Group.
Md Atique Ahmed
Dr Md Atique Ahmed is at present working as a Scientist under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India at the Regional centre of Northeast India (RMRC, NE), Dibrugarh, Assam, India.
Dr Ahmed's scientific career has been dedicated to the study of protozoan parasites in humans and primates, which includes all Plasmodium species, primarily Plasmodium falciparum, Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale and Plasmodium knowlesi. He has genetically and functionally characterised many plasmodium invasion antigens. His research interest mainly focuses population genetics/gemomics of Plasmodium parasites.
Rongling Wu
Prof. Rongling Wu is a Distinguished Professor of Public Health Sciences and Statistics at Pennsylvania State Cancer Institute and Director of the Center for Statistical Genetics.
His research interests include; Quantitative Trait Loci, Genes, Growth, Population, Multifactorial Inheritance, Statistical Models, Genome, Populus, Genotype, Single Nucleotide Polymorphism, Phenotype and Chromosome Mapping.
Ida Kubiszewski
Dr. Ida Kubiszewski is an Associate Professor at University College London (UCL) in the Institute for Global Prosperity. Prior to this, she was an Associate Professor at Crawford School of Public Policy at The Australian National University. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA)
Dr. Kubiszewski was a climate change negotiator for the country of the Dominican Republic, following adaptation and loss & damage. She was a delegate at the 19th through 21st Conference of Parties.
Dr. Kubiszewski is the author, or co-author, of over 70 scientific papers and co-authored or co-edited six books. Her editorial work includes being the founding managing editor and current Associate Editor of a magazine/journal hybrid called Solutions, as well as a co-founder and former managing editor of the Encyclopedia of Earth. She sits on the editorial boards or advisory boards of various journals, including Ecosystem Services, Anthropocene Review, Energies, and PeerJ.

Colin Palmer
An engineer by training with a wide interest in low speed aerodynamics and the fluid dynamics of animal locomotion. PhD topic was the flight of the large pterosaurs. Research Associate at the universities of Bristol and Southampton in the UK.
Önder Yildirim
Dr. Onder Yildirim is a Professor in the Faculty of Fisheries at Muğla Sıtkı Kocman University, Muğla, Turkey. He gained his MSc degree, at Faculty of Marine Sciences, Karadeniz Technical University (KTU) Sürmene Faculty of Marine Science in Trabzon, and his PhD degree at Faculty of Fisheries, Ege University in Izmir. Dr. Yildirim has performed research on fish nutrition subjects for over 25 years.
Richard Dortch
Richard Dortch, PhD, is an associate professor of imaging research in the Neuroimaging Innovation Center in the Department of Translational Neuroscience at Barrow Neurological Institute.
Dr. Dortch’s expertise includes radiological sciences and biomedical engineering. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
Dr. Dortch earned his master’s and doctorate degrees in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he served as assistant professor before joining the faculty at Barrow in 2019. His research has been funded through the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense.
Dr. Dortch’s research interests include developing, optimizing, and validating quantitative MRI methods for neuroimaging applications beyond the brain. More specifically, Dr. Dortch focuses on developing MRI methods to overcome specific challenges of nerve and spinal cord imaging, translating these methods to clinical populations (e.g., to guide surgery, improve diagnostics, and serve as biomarkers of therapeutic response), and validating these methods in relevant preclinical models. He applies these methods to evaluate the pathological underpinnings (e.g., demyelination, axonal degeneration) of nerve and spinal cord trauma, peripheral neuropathies, and multiple sclerosis. Dr. Dortch was instrumental in Barrow gaining admission to the North American Imaging in MS Cooperative (NAIMS).
