Johan Paul Beukes
Paul Beukes (JP Beukes) is full professor in Chemistry at the North-West University (NWU), Potchefstroom, South Africa. He received his PhD (Chemistry) in 1999 from the then Pothefstroom University for CHE. Paul worked in the metallurgical industry for almost a decade after completing his PhD, holding various senior positions such a production manager and operations manager at large ferrochromium smelters. In late 2007 he returned to academia and is currently co-managing the Atmospheric Chemistry Research Group (ACRG) and Chromium Technology Groups (CTG) at the NWU. The ACRG focuses mostly on in situ ambient atmospheric measurements, but research related to laboratory investigations, satellite observations and modelling is also conducted, while the CTG concentrate on metallurgical process improvements with associated atmospheric and/or other environmental co-benefits, e.g. reduced energy consumption, smaller carbon footprint and reduced water pollution. Paul is a South African National Research Foundation (NRF) rated scientist and serves on many advisory boards for industry, government and academia. Probably the most noteworthy panel that he is currently serving on is the International Global Atmospheric Chemistry (IGAC) scientific steering committee (SSC).
Cheng Sun
The Professor of global environmental change, Beijing Normal University. My research focusses on decadal climate variability, including the mechanisms and dynamics underlying the variability and its impacts on global and regional climates. I am also interested in paleoclimatology and reconstructions, and ecosystem response to climate change. I carried out a lot of original studies using observation and proxy data and simulations of earth system models. Specific interests include Atlantic multidecadal variability, Pacific decadal variability, ENSO, North Atlantic Oscillation, Indo-Pacific warm pool variability, and their impacts on global/regional rainfall and temperature and associated ecosystem responses.
Steven J Bograd
Dr. Steven Bograd is an oceanographer at NOAA’s Environmental Research Division in Monterey, California, and an Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Ocean Sciences, University of California-Santa Cruz. His research is focused on physical-biological interactions, eastern boundary current systems, climate variability, marine biologging, fisheries oceanography, and ecosystem-based management. He is currently involved in a number of research projects studying climate variability and its impacts on the marine ecosystems of the North Pacific Ocean. Steven was co-Principal Investigator of the Census of Marine Life’s Tagging of Pacific Predators (TOPP) program, and is currently an Editor-in-Chief at Fisheries Oceanography and co-chair of the PICES FUTURE Scientific Steering Committee. Steven received his PhD in Oceanography from the University of British Columbia in 1998, and held a post-doctoral fellowship at Scripps Institution of Oceanography before coming to NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center in 2001.

Dr. Luca Giannella is a Medical Doctor within the Woman’s Health Sciences Department, Gynecology and Obstetrics Section at the Polytechnic University of Marche, Ancona, Italy.
His expertise includes Obstetrics, Gynecologic Oncology, Gynaecological Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery.
Brigitte Galliot
MD, PhD, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science, Department of Genetics and Evolution, University of Geneva, Switzerland. Elected Vice-Dean. Member of Academia-net. Post-doctoral stage at the ZMBH, Heidelberg, Germany; PhD in Life Sciences in Strasbourg, France; medical studies in Paris, France. Since my post-doc time, I study the molecular and cellular basis of regeneration, neurogenesis and aging and I use Hydra, a freshwater cnidarian polyp, as model system.

Researcher at Bloodworks Research Institute and UW Medicine, University of Washington. Current work mainly focuses on zwitterionic-based surface coatings for long-term biomedical applications.
Matias Noll
Dr. Noll is Associate Professor of Public Health and Sport Sciences at the Instituto Federal Goiano. Since 2020, Dr. Noll is the coordinator from the Master Program in Professional and Technological Education in this Institute. Moreover, he is Visiting researcher from the Department of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics, University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark.
Dr. Noll received his Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the Medical School, Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Brazil. To date, he has published over 120 peer-reviewed research papers, some of which are in high impact journals, e.g.: Scientific Reports, Clinical Nutrition, Anatomical Sciences Education, Science Communication, Obesity Reviews, etc.
Dr. Noll is a Section Editor for PLOS ONE and reviewer for more than 25 international Journals. He is the coordinator from the Child and Adolescent Health Research Group (GPSaCA) (website: http://www.gpsaca.com.br) and is supervisor to more than 15 students, from undergraduate to doctorate levels.
Reviewing interests: basic and translational science, public health, back pain, exercise, clinical findings and medical trials, in relation to personalized medicine

Dr. Santosh Pandey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University.

Leondios G Kostrikis
Professor Leondios Kostrikis is a Professor at University of Cyprus. He received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from New York University and his post-doctoral training at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center of Rockefeller University. He joined the Rockefeller University as an Assistant Professor in 1999 and the University of Cyprus as Professor in 2003. He was a Fulbright, Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation and Aaron Diamond Foundation scholar. He has directed over twenty competitive grants from the NIH and the European Commission and he is an Editorial Board member for eleven international journals.
