Ravindra Kumar
Dr. Ravindra Kumar is a Senor Scientist (Plant Pathology) at Crop Protection Division, ICAR-Indian Wheat and Barley Research Institute, Karnal-132 001 (Haryana). He obtained his M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph.D. (Ag.) from the Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He was selected as ARS Scientist in ICAR, New Delhi in ARS-2009 batch. His areas of research interest include Host-Pathogen Interaction, Fungal Pathology, Biological Control of Phytopathogens, Mycology, Seed Pathology, and Plant Disease Management. He has published more than 32 research papers and reviews in reputed national and international journals, and has more than 50 technical and popular articles to his credit. He has also written two text books on plant pathology.
Dr Ravindra Kumar has excellent scientific writing and editing skills. Recently he edited book entitled as "Seed-Borne Diseases of Agricultural Crops: Detection, Diagnosis & Management" published by Springer, Singapore. He has edited several technical bulletins and annual reports. He has been associated with several professional/research societies of national and international repute.
Imran Khan
Dr. Imran Khan is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Mayo Clinic.
His work focuses on translational research, particularly for human tumors (glioma, brain metastasis, colon cancer and PDAC) investigating the mechanisms of tumor aggressiveness, establishing new effective treatments, and finding new diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in in-vitro, in-vivo, and ex-vivo model systems.

Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences, University of Missouri. The goal of our research is to explain the diversity of life history strategies among organisms. We primarily, though not exclusively, use insect model systems for our research.
Easter S Suviseshamuthu
Dr. Suviseshamuthu is an Associate Research Scientist at the Human Performance and Engineering Research Lab, Kessler Foundation, West Orange, NJ, U.S.A., since Dec. 2015.
He received the B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, India (1988), the M.E. degree in Applied Electronics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India (2001), and the Ph.D. in Multispectral Satellite Image Analysis from the Laboratoire des Sciences de l’Information et des Systèmes, Université de la Méditerranée, Marseille, France (2007). He was Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Bioimaging and Biostructure Institute, Italian National Research Council, Naples, Italy, (2008 to 2010), the Department of Mathematical Engineering, Université catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, (2010 to 2014), and the GIPSA-Lab, Université Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France (2014 to 2015).
His research focus encompasses statistical signal processing, blind source separation, medical imaging, optimization on matrix manifolds, machine learning, biomedical signal analysis, and bio-inspired computing. He serves as Associate Editor of IEEE Access.
Yasser Riazalhosseini
After undertaking post-doctoral studies on Cancer Genomics at the Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (DKFZ; German Cancer Research Centre), Yasser Riazalhosseini joined the Department of Human Genetics at McGill as an Assistant Professor, and was appointed Group Head of the Cancer Genomics program at the McGill University Genome Centre. His principal activity has been to initiate and lead a multidisciplinary, applied research program on cancer genomics, with the goals of obtaining better preventions and treatments. His research program uses systems biology approaches that combine genomics datasets involving sequences from hundreds of cancers coupled with detailed clinical data, and functional studies.
Xinlei Ge
Professor of Environmental Science and Engineering, specialized in atmospheric chemistry (in particular aerosol characterization and air pollution), environmental chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, solid waste ultilization etc. He has published more than 100 SCI paper in the field of environmental science, with >50 of them being the first or corresponding authors, with a total ISI citation over 2000 times.

Research Associate Professor at the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Cell and Developmental Biology. Research fields include the investigation of membrane trafficking in polarized epithelial cells.
Chih-Chung Shiao
Dr. Chih-Chung Shiao is an associate professor and a nephrologist.
He currently is the deputy superintendent of medical research and education department, chairman of the academic research committee, and attending physician of the Nephrology Division in Camillian Saint Mary’s Hospital Luodong, Taiwan.
Dr. Chih-Chung Shiao has published a total of more than 70 papers in SCI journals. His research interests cover acute kidney injury, autonomic cardiac function, critical care nephrology, heart failure, survival, chronic kidney disease, and uremia.
Giorgia Batelli
Dr. Giorgia Batelli is a Plant Genetics Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy, Institute of Biosciences and Bioresources. She received her Degree in Plant Biotechnology (2003) and PhD in Plant Biology and Chemistry (2007) at the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. She studies physiological and cellular mechanisms employed by plants (Arabidopsis, Solanaceae) to respond to salt and drought stress with a focus on ABA-mediated signalling, using a variety of molecular and genetic tools.
Alvaro Montenegro
Alvaro Montenegro is from Brazil but has lived in North America since 1999. Alvaro's formal training is in Physical Oceanography and he obtained his MS from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and his PhD from Florida State University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Victoria (BC, Canada) where he started to change his focus from oceanography to climatology. After a period as assistant professor at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish (NS, Canada) he arrived at Ohio State University in 2012. Alvaro's current research interests encompass various aspects of climate change and climate variability, particularly physical and biogeochemical processes occurring at the global and continental spatial scales. Alvaro looks into these problems using mainly climate models but also employ observations. He has used models to address questions on a broad range of subjects from paleoclimate to climate policy, with a concentration on carbon cycle modeling. He is also interested in using paleoclimatic data to constrain archaeological and biogeographic theories.
