I have interests in Food Science and Technology focus on the Microbiological Control of Quality and Food Safety. Recently I have been active in the identification and characterization of pathogenic microorganisms, their antimicrobial resistance and virulence using conventional microbiology, immunological (serum agglutination and ELISA) and molecular techniques (PCR, qPCR, MLST, MLVA, RAPD, PFGE, Whole-Genome Sequencing and Bioinformatics)
