Scholarly publishing in chemistry today needs to be fast, rigorous, fair, and what the community wants –– not what the publisher wants. Our job is to give you the tools and service that you need to accelerate your field.
With five new Open Access journals to choose from, you'll be making chemistry in your style, at last. Read more about the announcement on the PeerJ blog.
Academic Editors at PeerJ are experienced researchers who are experts in their respective fields. As a general rule, Academic Editors must be at Principle Investigator level or above and have published 25 or more peer-reviewed journal articles. Editors are vetted before being appointed, and their decisions are overseen for consistency.
150 institutions have prepaid PeerJ article fees, helping reduce publishing costs and making it easier for their researchers to publish Open Access.
