2021 PeerJ Award Winners
2021 has been another testing year for those organizing and attending academic conferences. Some meetings were able to take place “the old way” – i.e. fully in-person – although the majority remained either wholly online or organized as hybrid events. PeerJ Awards were given at seventeen separate conferences, for outstanding research on topics as diverse as 3D cell modelling to the evolution of sabre-tooth deer, with winners each receiving a free publication in a PeerJ journal (subject to peer review).
PeerJ Awards are aimed primarily at supporting Students and Early Career Researchers (ECRs). If you are organizing a conference in 2022 or 2023 and would like to present a PeerJ Award at your meeting, please feel free to get in touch by emailing [email protected].
