Supplemental Information

Resource efficiency optimization using the proposed algorithm

For an UWSN consisting of a source node and five relay nodes, and given initial batteries with 3w, the proposed algorithm is applied to compute the optimal resource efficiency function at each packet transmission. The treatment is averaged over 1,000 iterations and repeated until batteries drains.
