Pharmacist graduated by Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1998), Master Degree in Biochemistry by Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2000) and PhD in Biochemistry by Chemistry Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2003). Postdoctoral held at the Chemistry School of UFRJ on evaluation of agro-industrial waste through biotechnological approaches. Actually is Associate Professor of the Federal University of the Jequitinhonha and Mucuri Valleys, Works mainly in the following areas: Enzymology, Biosurfactants, Biofuels and Fermentative Processes.
