Introduction

  1. Shorter day length constrains aphid performance and reduces population growth.

  2. Warm temperature causes quicker generation cycles and faster population growth.

  3. Temperature and day length interact, so that the positive effects of an increase in ambient temperature decline with shorter day length.

The first tab contains all raw data from the experiment on individuals.The second tab is a copy of raw data, but data is aligned by birth date. ‘dead’ is replaced with NA for better readability with analysis programs. Winged and injured organisms are excluded. The third tab contains data of the population experiment.
