Summary

My primary research area of interest is Botany and Ecology, specifically in South Africa. I completed my bachelors and masters degrees in Conservation Ecology at Stellenbosch University. During my Masters degree I became increasingly more interested in how ancient people interacted with their environment, and how they survived of the resources available in different ecosystems. My research migrated from ecology and conservation biology, to Paleo-anthropology, Paleo-botany and Archaeology. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Archaeology at the University of Cape Town.
