Victor H Ponce-Ponce
Summary
He received the title of Engineer in Communications and Electronics from the Higher School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (ESIME) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) in 1993, the degree of Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and of Doctor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies (CINVESTAV) in 1994 and 2005, respectively. From 2007 to 2008, he made a sabbatical stay at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, being in charge of the design of an integrated circuit as a prototype of an image sensor in CMOS technology in the 250 nm technology node, incorporating a new separation technology color without the need for deposited filters. Currently, he works as a full professor and head of the Laboratory of Microtechnology and Embedded Systems at the Computing Research Centre of the IPN. His research work focuses on the design of analog integrated circuits and MEMS and the design of computational platforms for neuromorphic systems.
