Yi-Shian Peng
Summary
Dr. Yi-Shian Peng received the B.S. degree in Biology from the Tunghai University in 2011. He received Ph.D. degree in Systems Biology from National Central University (NCU) in 2019. His research mainly focuses on the mechanism of neurodegeneration and identifies new molecular signatures of Alzheimer’s disease for the prevention and intervention. In 2016, he received a Travel Grant Award from 13th International Congress of Human Genetics, and NCU Outstanding Student Scholarship. He was also elected as a co-Chair for 10th AYRCOB (Asian Young Researchers' Conference on Computational and Omics Biology). In 2017, his work was selected as an E-Poster presenter for XXIII World Congress of Neurology (WCN2017) and received a NCU Outstanding Student Scholarship. In 2019, he received a NCU Outstanding Student Scholarship and a Taiwan Dementia Society (TDS) Research Award. In 2020, he served as a reviewer for Alzheimer's & Dementia: The Journal of the Alzheimer's Association.
