I am an Organic / Medicinal Chemistry Postdoctoral Fellow currently working in the field of Synthesis of biologically active indole-containing molecules. In particular Total Synthesis of Natural Products, mainly Indole-containig alkaloids such as Indolactam V, Clavicipitic Acid and Aurantioclavine, New methods for the synthesis of Bis-indoles and Indole Reactivity, C-H functionalization of Melatonin and Synthesis of Melatonin Ligands, Avenananthramides synthesis and Biological Activity. Analysis and Biological activity of natural extracts. Some Experience in the field of Peptide Chemistry (Solid Phase) and Chemical Synthesis of Proteins using Chemical Ligations.
