Dr. Terry Lehenbauer is Professor and Director of the University of California, Davis, Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Research Center (VMTRC) in Tulare which is the dairy production medicine educational and research center for the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. As a veterinarian, his area of clinical expertise is dairy cattle herd health and disease prevention with an emphasis on infectious disease epidemiology, risk management, antimicrobial stewardship, and animal health economics. His current areas of research focus include bovine respiratory disease, mastitis diagnostics, and antimicrobial stewardship and resistance. He is responsible for administering the VMTRC dairy production medicine clinical training programs for residents and senior veterinary students. Dr. Lehenbauer is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and the Epidemiology Specialty.
