Summary

I aim to provide knowledge on marine mammal species in terms of their diversity, distribution, abundance, population structure, as well as their adaptations and evolution, including behavior and life strategies, social organization, learning capabilities and communication. I wish to contribute in determining the consequences of human activities on marine mammal populations, to improve management and conservation policies. I also train specialists on the study and management of marine mammals.
