Summary
Dr. Zúniga González has been a Professor of Agricultural Economic at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua since 2000. He served as Lecturer and Researcher from September 2000 to September 2010. He also serves as Facultative Manager both at the Agricultural Campus and at the Business and Economic Science Faculty where he had oversight for administrative activities, where he had attended the engineer agro ecology Department, and Veterinary Medicine Program. Actually he serves as academic support team at the Social Projection Direction with the responsibility of University-Society-State area coordinator.
His technical expertise is in production and development economic. He has conducted extensive research on the force leading to the growth of agricultural output and environment with special reference to technical efficiency, productivity growth, economies of size, supply response, and natural resource management on hillside agriculture. His work has focused on the livestock farmer sector, and on the agricultural production system in Central America. He has also coordinated a variety of activities dealing with ONGs. Dr. Zúniga González has taught courses in Agricultural marketing, Production Economic, benefit-cost analysis, microeconomic theory, and economic development and impact analysis of development projects, National Accounts.
