Summary

Dr. Weiners laboratory is one of the founding laboratories in the field of DNA vaccines. His group focuses on novel approaches to improve the immune potency and utility of DNA approaches.
He is also an active teacher and trainer of graduate students and post doctoral fellows, as he chairs the Gene Therapy and Vaccines Graduate program at the University of Pennsylvania
