Summary

Postdoctoral researcher (Juan de la Cierva program) at Complutense University of Madrid (2017-currently). PhD (2015) at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona(Spain). My research focuses on archaeological taphonomy or zooarchaeology, with emphasis on subsistence strategies during the Paleolithic, hunting, butchering process, modifications generated by carnivores, and the formation fossil accumulations. In parallel I have developed experimental works on taphonomy and other research focusing on human cannibalism and archaeo-malacology. I am member of several professional bodies, including the Catalan Association of Bio-archeology (ACBA) and the European Society for the Study of Human Evolution (ESHE), and I am member of Atapuerca Research Team.
