Summary

I am Dr. Israr Ud Din, working as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering (IBGE), The University of Agriculture Peshawar, Pakistan. I have a Ph.D. in Biological and Molecular Sciences from University of Milan, Italy. I have rich working experience in the fields of Genetic and Molecular study. My research work has been published in international reputed journals such as Plant Journal, Frontiers in Plant Sciences, Frontiers in Microbiology, PLOSONE and Molecular Biology Reports etc.
My current research interests are as following
1- Biochemical and Molecular characterization of plants under abiotic stresses.
2- Genetic and Molecular characterization of cereal germplasm for quality traits, disease resistance and abiotic stress tolerance.
3- Application of advanced biotechnological tools such as CRISPR Cas9 genome editing for crop improvement.
