Summary
I am a dedicated early-career researcher specializing in plant nutrition and biology. Research has always been a driving force in my career, and I am committed to pursuing innovative and impactful research in plant nutrition and plant biology with a focus on human health and sustainability. My academic journey culminated in the successful completion of my PhD in plant nutrition and soil at Sao Paulo State University, Ilha Solteira, Sao Paulo Brazil. I continued my research journey with a postdoctoral position under the same mentor and within the same institute. My academic trajectory has refined my expertise in sustainable crop production, with a particular focus on the interaction between plants, microbes, and soil. My research encompasses various facets of agronomy, delving into the metabolic pathways of plants, and elucidating the production and physiology of staple crops such as wheat, maize, and common beans. Through an exploration of biochemical and molecular mechanisms, I aim to unravel the complexities underlying plant nutrition, including the physiological responses of plants to environmental stressors. My investigations extend to the dynamics of plant nutrient uptake and soil fertility, seeking avenues to enhance crop tolerance to abiotic stresses and optimize environmental microbiology for improved agricultural outcomes.
