Mona Rady
Summary
Mona Rady received her first degree as BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2002 from Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, Egypt. She then earned her MSc in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2009 from the German University in Cairo (GUC), Egypt. She earned her PhD degree in Microbiology and Immunology in 2014 also at the GUC, Egypt in collaboration with the Leibniz Research Centre for Working Environment and Human Factors (IfADo)-TU Dortmund, Germany after being awarded the DAAD-GERSS scholarship, where she investigated the regulatory role of microRNAs in natural killer cell function. In 2018, Dr Rady has been awarded a fellowship from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom in collaboration with the UNICAF to earn an additional postgraduate degree in Public Health. Dr Rady joined the GUC in 2005 as a teaching assistant for four years then promoted to assistant lecturer in 2009. Since 2014 she is holding a postdoctoral research associate position at the Microbiology and Immunology Department, GUC, Egypt.
