The revised complete mitogenome sequence of the tree frog Polypedatesmegacephalus (Anura, Rhacophoridae) by next-generation sequencing and phylogenetic analysis (2019) PeerJ

This work want to revise the mitochondrial genome of Polypedates megacephalus but the authors used the different location sample to identify the mitochondrial genome. The mitochondrial genome structure may be caused by the different population samples. If the authors find the ND5 gene but no ATP8 gene, I think they should be focused on CR1-ND5-CR2 region. In our studies, the mitochondrial genome of Polypedates megacephalus is CR1-ND5-CR2-ND5-CR3 region, which own two ND5 gene! So I think this mt genome is not correct! The authors should revise their sequence. In the other side, is the ATP8 gene really lost? or This gene is shifted to CR1-ND5-CR2-ND5-CR3 region?

I do not think the authors give the corrected complete mitogenome sequence of the tree frog Polypedates megacephalus. There are still some questions existed.
