Conduct research on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases at the human–animal interface, with a focus on zoonotic pathogens. Responsible for designing and implementing laboratory- and field-based studies, including sample collection, molecular diagnostics, serological analysis, and data interpretation. Actively involved in surveillance of tropical and novel pathogens, biosafety and biosecurity practices, and interdisciplinary collaboration under the One Health framework. Contribute to scientific publications, research reports, and national or international collaborative projects, as well as mentoring students and supporting laboratory capacity building.
