Computer Scientist by training, after studying it in Denmark, UK and Germany I got my degrees (MSc, Phd) from TU Dresden in 2002 and 2008 resp. Bioinformatics has my main focus since 2003. Currently at Masdar Institute, which brought me to environmental issues, such as microbial communities, and their analysis.
