Summary

Dr Iqbal is a graduate in Science with a strong academic and research record. He did his initial degrees from The University of Agriculture, Peshawar with Gold Medal. He was the first Pakistani, awarded with VLIR fellowship by Belgian Government for M.Sc. in Food Science. He did his Masters from two best Universities of Belgium, University of Gent and Katholic University of Leuven with distinction. He was also the first ever Pakistani, who got DHPA award by UK-Government for PhD. He completed his Ph.D. and Postdoc at the University of Edinburgh and joined Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA), UK in 2010. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Agriculture and a Visiting Scientist at Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS), China.
