Eva Sciacca

Summary

Eva Sciacca is a Computer Scientist post-doctoral researcher at the Astrophysical Observatory of Catania of the Italian National Institute for Astrophysics. She obtained the PhD in Mathematics for Technology focusing on Computational Biology studies. She has developed IT applications tailored to the Astronomy and Astrophysics community based on Science Gateways and Workflow Management Systems exploiting Distributed Computing Infrastructures. She is currently working on Distributed Archive Systems and Data Federations. She is author of about 60 papers published in refereed journals, conference proceedings and book chapters.
