Summary

Laurence O’Dwyer holds a PhD in paradigms of memory formation from Trinity College Dublin. In 2016, he won the Patrick Kavanagh Award for Poetry. In 2017, he received a fellowship from The MacDowell Colony. In 2018, he was awarded residencies at the Rensing Center (South Carolina) and the Vermont Studio Center. He has held research posts at Goethe University, Radboud University and Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience and has been a visiting scholar the Scott Polar Research Institute, University of Cambridge. He has also won a Hennessy New Irish Writing Award.
