Summary

I am very interested in evolutionary biology of flowering plants. Since 2004, the beginning of my Master study, I am working on a large and hemiparasitic genus Pedicularis L. (Orobanchaceae). Pedicualris, approximately 600 species, is a species-rich angiosperm genus, and its flowers are dramatic variations in forms and tube-lengths of corolla. This genus provides outstanding opportunities to study speciation mediated by flower divergence and plant-pollinator co-adaptation.
