Tito Lotufo is a Professor at the Oceanographic Institute, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Has formerly worked as Associate Professor at the Institute of Marine Sciences, Federal University of Ceara. He obtained his B.Sc. in Biological Sciences and also holds a M. Sc. in Ecology, D. Sc. in Zoology and Habilitation in Biological Oceanography, all from the Universidade de Sao Paulo, Brazil. His research interests are aimed at Marine Biodiversity and Biogeography, especially in Ascidians evolution and ecology. He also participates in many local and global networks to describe and understand the marine biodiversity and evolution.
