Summary

My laboratory (SysmicroLab) is interested in host-pathogen interaction studies using surrogate host such as the social amoeba (Dictyostelium discoideum), the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans and zebrafish (Danio rerio). By using in vivo cell imaging and meteproteomic approach we studied Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Salmonella enterica virulence factor that are important for damaging the host. In addition, we studied the in vivo host defense against those bacterial pathogens.
