Summary
I am currently a post-doc MAST research group at the Department of Informatics, University of Hamburg, Germany. I received my Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the University of Oulu, Finland.
My research interests include agile software development methodologies and their empirical study using controlled experiment. In particular, I am focusing on test-driven development and its effects on software quality and developers productivity. I am a member of ACM and IEEE Computer Society.

I am an Assistant Professor for Software Engineering at the Blekinge Institute of Technology and researcher at the University of Hamburg, Germany.
My focus is on Empirical Software Engineering and interdisciplinary research. During my Ph.D. I worked together with industry to evaluate and improve agile software development methodologies, such as unit testing and test-driven development. In my post-doc, I worked with prof. Walid Maalej in the area of data-driven Requirements Engineering. I regularly publish in various software engineering venues and occupy several positions in venues of the empirical software and requirements engineering communities. I am a member of the ACM and the IEEE Computer societies.
