Summary

Dong Li is the professor from State Key Lab of Proteomics, Beijing Proteome Research Center,Beijing Institute of Life Omics. And now he is the director of the biological big data department.
Dong Li has been engaged in the bioinformatics study in proteomic field after he got his PHP from Peking University in 2006. Dr. Li is interested in the research of topology structure, biological function, evolution and dynamics of large-scale biological networks. He has developed multiple bioinformatics web services such as GOfact, PRINCESS,SLIPPER, Batman-TCM and UbiBrowser, which have gained over 40,000 visits. And now he is leading his team to establish the knowledge-mining portal to integrate multiple biological big data (genome, transcriptome and proteome) to generate hypothesis for biological mechanism, disease diagnosis and drug development.
Dr Li is the current member of the editorial board of Proteomics, and he has published 21 peer-reviewed research papers in Nature communications, Molecular&Cellular Proteomics, Molecular Systems Biology.
