Summary

Doctorate in Population Genomics, his research interests have been recently centered on the understanding of the biological (genetic) and environmental mechanisms underlying complex diseases, specifically the study of the relationship between genetic variants and nutrients related with human health (aka Nutrigenomics). He is also coordinator of the Rare Genomics Institute in Spain, a non-profit organization dedicated to provide whole genome sequencing and analysis for rare diseases patients.
