Summary
He completed his PhD at the Middle East Technical University with a degree in Information System. From 1996 to 2016 he worked as a software developer, database administrator, trainer, technical leader and researcher in many software development and research companies. He worked as a visiting post-doctoral researcher at Valencia University Image Processing Laboratory between June 2017 to June 2018. Between 2016 and 2020, he worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Konya Food and Agriculture University. As of 2020, he started to work in the Department of Computer Engineering at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University with a current title as Associate Professor where he also work as researcher at Esri Ankara research office. His main research areas are image processing, machine learning, and remote sensing.
