All reviews of published articles are made public. This includes manuscript files, peer review comments, author rebuttals and revised materials. Note: This was optional for articles submitted before 13 February 2023.
Peer reviewers are encouraged (but not required) to provide their names to the authors when submitting their peer review. If they agree to provide their name, then their personal profile page will reflect a public acknowledgment that they performed a review (even if the article is rejected). If the article is accepted, then reviewers who provided their name will be associated with the article itself.

« An Enhanced remaining useful life Prediction model of Aircraft engine with Attention mechanism
The authors presented an article « An Enhanced remaining useful life Prediction model of Aircraft engine with Attention mechanism ». The article is interesting and deserves the attention of readers. However, there are several points in the article that require further explanation.
1. Title needs to be concretized. What exactly is explored in the article? By what methods?
2. Demonstrate in the abstract novelty, practical significance.
3. Add quantitative and qualitative work results to the abstract.
4. The introduction needs to be improved. After analyzing the literature, show before formulating the goal of the "blank" spots. Which has not been previously done by other researchers? You must show the importance of the research being undertaken. Show what will be the new research approach in this article. You need to show a hypothesis.
5. In the last paragraph of the introduction, add scientific novelty and practical relevance. Add a clear purpose to the article.
6. Are all figures original? If not needed appropriate citations and permissions. Refine this for figures throughout the article.
7. Are all formulas original? If not needed appropriate citations.
8. Describe the measurement procedure in more detail. At what point in time? How is the measuring setup set up? How many repetitions of measurements? What statistical methods are used to process experimental results? Describe the experimental stand in more detail. What method of experiment planning is used and why?
9. Conclusions should be improved.
It is necessary to more clearly show the novelty of the article and the advantages of the proposed method. What is the difference from previous work in this area? Show practical relevance.
The article is interesting, but needs to be improved. Authors should carefully study the comments and make improvements to the article step by step.
Add 4-5 items of the findings of the study.
After these changes can an article be considered for publication in the "PeerJ Computer Science".
• Abstract: writing is too generalized. The main theme of this paper is not described in the abstract. It is also important to exhibit the novelty of your study in the abstract section. Abstract section should be concisely reflected the content and summarize the problem, the method, the results, and the conclusions. Also, please insert more qualitative and quantitative outcomes of your work.
• Language used in the manuscript is generally satisfying. However, writers should pay more attention of singular / plural nouns. Please fix the typographical and eventual language problems in paper. Also, they should control the spell check/ punctuation of words and sentences. Please check all manuscript for language and misspellings. Also, please recheck duplicated author names such as especially in introduction section “Ord´o˜nezOrd´o˜nez, PanPan, HuHu, LiLi, RagabRagab, LinLin, GaoGao etc,” should be corrected as right names. In addition, spaces and required punctuations should be added between words and references and numbers. For example, in the Introduction line 26 “aircraftLi” should be revised as “aircraft. Li”. (For instance, same page line 34). Page 7 line 190 please add space after comma. Besides, please recheck upper and lower case letter such as in the Introduction section line 32 author names/surname should started with upper cases. Please revisit all manuscript and correct such inconsistencies.
• In the introduction section, more literature papers have to be included to explain the subject better. Some giving citations also need to be check such as “Peng et al. (2019); Singh et al. (2020); 32 Ren et al. (2018); prem shankar kumar et al. (2021).”, as they may not provide the required information in a one sentence.
• At the last paragraph of the introduction or after the literature review paragraph, please clearly show the general outline of the paper and show the importance of the study along with the main aim.
• There is an interesting approach and design exists, I just propose to emphasis the practical significance of the presented methodology in several points of article.
• There is a reference problem. Your reference list contains any papers from Peerj journal. If your work is convenient for this journal’s context then there are many references from this or related other (Peerj comp. sci.) journal. (Please only refer to most relevant articles).
• Why are you chosen particular value in parameters level especially for cycles level?
• Improve the experimental study and experimental results and analysis parts. These sections should be widened with more focusing point of the findings. And added discussion, results or other information should be supported with the literature studies. These parts are inadequate according to citation and analyze in detail. There should be the importance of the study in detail, comparison results with other approaches in literature, the success of the prediction and computational results.
• Please add the success of study as numerical in the conclusion section. Indeed, there are an impressive amount of results. However, the conclusions section needs to improve with selected and highlighted main findings. In conclusion section, it is necessary to more clearly show the novelty of the article and the advantages of the proposed method. Add qualitative and quantitative results of your work. Please try to emphasize your novelty, put some quantifications, and comment on the limitations. This is a very common way to write conclusions for a learned academic journal. The conclusions should highlight the novelty and advance in understanding presented in the work.
This work reports the "An Enhanced remaining useful life Prediction model of Aircraft engine with Attention mechanism". A well written manuscript with interesting findings. Additionally, the author gives a reasonable explanation for the experimental phenomena. But, there are still some above mentioned issues needing to be clarified before acceptance for publication.
